(Clearwisdom.net) Recently I started to spread the Fa by reading Lunyu. In the past three months, many with predestined relationships were deeply touched by Master's mercy and by the wonder of Dafa. They expressed their interest in practicing Falun Gong.
Ms. Hong is a member of the Parents Committee. She works at a clinic. Not long ago the director of the committee and Ms. Hong came to visit me. We talked about health issues and naturally touched on the current popular wave of practicing Falun Gong. When she first listened to my reading of Lunyu, she felt very relaxed and pleasant. When she listened for the second time, she felt a bit of pain in two or three spots of her lower back. She said she had a history of kidney disease. When she listened for the third time, she saw an image in front of her. When I opened the book Zhuan Falun and showed her Master's photo, she exclaimed, "Yes, it is Him!" I acknowledged her reaction solemnly and thought to myself that another seed of cultivation had sprouted.
Principal Su is a scholar with deep knowledge of education, training, and literature. Hindered by worldly knowledge, he was wandering just outside the door of Dafa. One day he was very uneasy with a hypertension headache. I reminded him, "Master has been waiting for you for many years. This time perhaps you can listen to the Buddha Fa without any human notions." During the whole process of listening to my reading of Lunyu, his face was pale and he groaned slightly. Ten minutes later his face regained a healthy glow. I tried to show my concern for him and asked him, "How do you feel?" He smiled shyly and said, "Falun Dafa is great!"
Principal Xie is efficient and has high standards. She runs a tight ship and is strict with the students. She has served several schools and made great achievements. One day two of us went to the city council to make some inquiries. As we waited, she invited me to read the Fa. She conjoined her hands and closed her eyes while listening to my reading of Lunyu. After I read Lunyu three times, she flung her numb left arm and asked me, "Why is that my arm is numb and my back itches? Also, there is an energy pushing me out the door." Then we made our inquiries and had no time to talk further. The next day she raised the same question. Principal Xie is a follower of a Western religion. She came to know Dafa only a year ago. She cultivated at home. Shortly after she started the practice of Falun Gong, her body was cleansed and her problem of frequent urination and fear of cold disappeared. So I warned her indirectly, "You have to remember the principle of practicing no second way." She agreed immediately and said she would stop practicing the Western religion that very night and took off the two medallions hanging around her neck. Then she asked me to read Lunyu again. This time she had a completely different feeling. She felt calm and relaxed, and also saw constantly changing colors in front of her eyes. Finally, she saw beams of crystal clear lights.
Ms. Wu is a manager at a life insurance company. She is creative and full of initiative. When trying to solve an interpersonal problem among colleagues, they turned on her. She was very upset and converted to a religion, but she and her husband had physical problems after the conversion. She also saw that the lay religious people didn't cultivate their character and acted like ordinary people. She was very puzzled. One day she came to see me. I read Lunyu to her. Shortly after I started to read, she couldn't help burping and kept burping. During my second and third time of reading Lunyu, she even knelt down on the ground and began to vomit. After I finished reading, she said her body was much lighter. As soon as she got in her car, she threw away all the decorative items from other religions and put up our lotus card. The next day she took part in our Fa-promotion activity and vomited twice. Her diseases of many years such as the skin problem papular urticaria, headaches, sleeping problems, and other physical ailments were all cleansed.
Principal Zhang won many prizes for his successful management of schools. He was an advocate of education reform. He retired from his position last year. He intended to learn Falun Gong several times before his retirement. Due to his busy schedule, he kept putting off learning the practice. Last semester when I visited the school he previously served, he had returned to the school to supervise the students. His predestined relationship was thus established. Nothing happens by chance. After I finished my duty, with four principals looking at me, I started reading the Fa softly:
"It is an exposition of the characteristic of the universe, 'Zhen-Shan-Ren,' expressed at different levels with different layers of meaning."(Lunyu in Zhuan Falun)
When I read to this point, Principal Zhang gently closed his eyes and breathed lightly. He fell asleep while sitting in the chair. The other principals present all remained silent, stopped what they were doing, and listened to the Buddha Fa. We woke Mr. Zhang up when we were going to leave half an hour later. Two months afterward, we ran into each other at a tea art party. He gladly told me, "I have been reading Zhuan Falun for quite some time and I no longer suffer from the gout which had been tormenting me for 20 years."
