1. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Chunxiang, 49 years old, is a retired worker from the highway engineering division of Dandong City. She was taken into detention by the Dandong Municipal Zhenan District Court on October 31, 2006. Ms. Wang was tracked by plainclothes officers when she went outside on October 31, 2006. When she returned home and was opening her door they arrested her and confiscated her belongings. She was sentenced to eight years in prison on December 14, 2006.
Practitioner Ms. Song Guixiang, 49 years old, lives on the third floor of the Yazhi Youth Building on Shuiyuan Road, Yuanbao District, Dandong City. She was taken into detention officers from the police department in Dandong City on November 6, 2006 .

3. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Linyun and Mr. Liu Hongpin Sentenced to Forced Labor
On December 12, 2006, practitioners Ms. Wang Linyun and Mr. Liu Hongpin from Suizhou City, Hubei Province, were taken away by national security police officers Li Jinbo, Liu Guoqing, and others. The practitioners' computers, printers, consumable materials, cellphones, and so on were looted. Ms. Wang Linyun was sentenced to 15 months of forced labor and presently is imprisoned at the second brigade of the Provincial Women's Forced Labor Administration Center in Banqiao Community, Mahu Village, the Hongshan District, Wuhan City. Mr. Liu Hongpin was sentenced to 21 months of forced labor and presently is imprisoned at the ninth brigade of Shayang Forced Labor Camp.

5. [Heshan City, Guangdong Province] Recent Persecution Facts Regarding Ms. Yu Ruilian
At the beginning of 2006, practitioner Ms. Yu Ruilian from Heshan City, Guangdong Province, and her husband, Mr. Zhang Yuling, a non-practitioner, who had been compelled to be destitute and homeless, were arrested while distributing "truth clarification" materials in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. The house she rented was ransacked, but the authorities could not find any evidence. Ms. Yu Ruilian's husband, Zhang Yuling, was sentenced to one year in prison and was held in the #58 Drug Rehabilitation Center in Rujiang City, Fujian Province. He has been released. According to Mr. Zhang, practitioners are frequently beaten mercilessly at the drug rehabilitation center.
His wife, practitioner Ms. Yu Ruilian, was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. She is imprisoned at Fujian Provincial Women's Forced Labor Administration Center. A relative requested to see her but this request was rejected.
6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fu Yan Facing Trial
Practitioner from Jinzhou City Ms. Fu Yan obtained Dafa in 1996 and was arrested in 2003. She always believed in Dafa and did not eat the food inside the jail. By going on a hunger strike, she was released on bail. She did not want to implicate her relative, so she left home at the end of October 2003 and became destitute and homeless thereafter. On January 5, 2006, Ms. Fu was arrested again by the petroleum local police station police. She refused to give out her name, and the political security section chief of Linghe District police department, Sun Zhian, tried everything possible to finally find out her identity. Afterwards Sun Zhian and the Linghe District Procuratorate prosecuted Ms. Fu in the Linghe District Court. Linghe District Court in Jinzhou City decided to put her on trial at 2 p.m. on January 26.

7. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Jiding Detained in Jinshi Prison
Practitioner Mr. Wang Jiding from Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is imprisoned in Jinshi Prison in Changde City (the second detention and dispatch center of Hunan Province). There are plans for him to be delivered to another place assigned by the Provincial Prison Bureau at the end of January 2007. At present practitioners Mr. Li Zhigang (a military officer) from Changsha City and Meng from Yiyang City are also imprisoned at Jinshi Prison in Changde City.

8. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Dongmei , Mr. Yang Shuxin, etc. Arrested
On January 23, 2007, at about 4:00 p.m., local police officer Wang Lai and others from Sihe Town, Yushu City, Jilin Province, arrived at practitioner Ms. Zhang Dongmei's home to question her. Afterwards the police inspector of Sihe Town led police to her home again, confiscated her property such as a computer and printer, and took Ms. Zhang and her husband away.
Zhang Deqing and other two or three people from the national security brigade of Yushu City, together with local police from Sihe Town, went to Ms. Zhang Dongmei's home again to inventory and confiscate her belongings. They also went to Mr. Yang Shuxin's home (not far from Ms. Zhang's) to inventory and confiscate belongings. They found a "Minghui Weekly" and other materials, so they took Mr. Yang Shuxin away using the material as evidence. That very evening, Ms. Zhang Dongmei and Mr. Yang Shuxin were arrested on criminal charges and put under administrative detention. They were sent to the detention center of Yushu City. Ms. Zhang Dongmei's husband, Mr. Li Jinghong, who does not practice Falun Gong, was released.

9. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ma Lingxi and Ms. Liu Guilan Arrested
On the evening of January 22, police inspector Ma Baolong of Xinli Town, Yushu City led four or five police to intrude into the homes of four practitioners: Mr. Shan Zhenshuang, Mr. Shan Zhenquan, Ma Lingxi and Liu Guilan,all in Shuangyu Village. The authorities confiscated their belongings. Ma Lingxi and Liu Guilan were taken to the local police station and then sent to the Yushu City Detention Center at about 3:00 a.m.

At 9:00 p.m. on January 22, 2007, police from the police department of Dehui City jumped over the wall to enter the house of practitioner Ms. Su Yafen from Dafangshen Town and arrested her. She is imprisoned at the police department of Dehui City.
11. [Jiangbei District, Chongqing City] Additional Persecution Facts Regarding Ms. Wang Liuzhen
Practitioner Ms. Wang Liuzhen, 67 years old, is retired from the Changan Factory in the Jiangbei District. Because she went to Beijing to clarify the facts, she was taken to the Jiangbei District Detention Center in Chongqing City and sentenced to 15 months of forced labor. Ms. Wang went on a hunger strike to protest and is imprisoned in the women's forced labor camp. She is still fasting to resist the persecution.
12. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Feng Shaogui Arrested
On the evening of January 22, 2007, at eight or nine o'clock, practitioner Mr. Feng Shaogui from Jilin City made a phone call to his wife saying he could not return home. Three days later his relatives obtained the news: Mr. Feng Shaogui had been arrested by police from the Weichang local police station.

13. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Fengyun Detained in Dehui City Detention Center and Facing Trial
14. [Yiyuan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Deqing Arrested
On the afternoon of January 23, 2007, at about 2 o'clock, four or five officers from Yiyuan County, led by three policemen from the Wujing Town local police station, rushed into practitioner Mr. Wang Deqing's home to confiscate his property. They took away some of the materials, Dafa books, and two MP3 players. The police from Yiyuan County arrested Mr. Wang Deqing.
Mr. Wang was sent to a forced labor camp in May 2002, but because of his poor health, he was sentenced to custody outside of prison. Mr. Wang Deqing's daughter has also been arrested by Yiyuan County police many times.

15. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Guiyun Arrested
On January 19 in the afternoon, eight police officers called practitioner Ms. Liu Guiyun to open her door, saying they were collecting the water bill. They then arrested Ms. Liu Guiyun and confiscated her property, including equipment such as a computer and a printer.
16. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Xiuyun and Ms. Meng Fanying Sentenced to Prison
On January 24, 2007, practitioners Ms. Yang Xiuyun and Ms. Meng Fanying from Baicheng City were arrested by the national security brigade of the Taobei District of Baicheng City and the national security brigade of Baicheng City because they were distributing Dafa materials. They were sentenced respectively to three years and two years of imprisonment. On January 24, 2007, at 9 a.m., Ms. Yang Xiuyun, Ms. Meng Fanying, and six other practitioners from outlying counties were sent to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City.
17. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
On January 23, 2007, practitioners Ms. Miao Xiujuan, Mr. Xue Qinghui, Ms. Zhang Fengrong, and Ms. Jiang Yahong from Shuangcheng City went to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp to send forth righteous thoughts. On their way back, while they were waiting for bus at the crossroads of Wanjia and Dahujia, they were arrested by local police officers Liu Zhaoping and others from Xinnong Town, Daoli District, Harbin City.
18. [Fuyu County, Jilin Province] Mr. Jiang Yongsheng Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Jiang Yongsheng, 36 years old, was a professional high school teacher from Sanjingzi Town, Fuyu County, Jilin Province. Because Mr. Jiang did not give up cultivating "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," he was sent to Weizigou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City in 2000 to serve a one-year forced labor term. During this period, he suffered all kinds of inhuman torture. The guards put toothbrushes between his fingers and then gripped them tightly; they forced Mr. Jiang to stand naked outdoors in the cold weather, then poured cold water all over him; they beat him with wooden boards; they forced him to stand barefooted on iron triangles and then they would stomp on his feet. He was routinely forced to sit on hard boards and forbidden to sleep. Afterwards, Mr. Jiang Yongsheng was transferred to Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City.
After returning from the labor camp, Mr. Jiang Yongsheng always followed "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." In 2005 he went to work but the authorities came to arrest Mr. Jiang Yongsheng again. He escaped with righteous thoughts and was forced to become destitute and homeless. Because he has elderly parents and an underage child at home with nobody attending them, he returned home in November 2006. On the evening of January 22, 2007, four officers from the police department of Fuyu County arrested him for no reason. He is imprisoned in the Fuyu County Detention Center.

20. [Nanzheng County, Shaanxi Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
On January 10, 2007, practitioner from Nanzheng County Mr. Yan Zhongde was reported and tracked while distributing truth materials at countryside. He was arrested on the 11th at the Hanzhong Train Station. Up to the 13th, another three elderly practitioners, Ms. Liu, Mr. Wang Chenglin, and Ms. Yan Suyun, were arrested by the police, and their family properties were confiscated. These three practitioners are all over 70 years old. Ms. Yan Suyun refused to cooperate with the authorities, and she has already been imprisoned at the Detention Center of Nanzheng County and persecuted for more than 10 days.

22. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Arrested Recently
Qingyun Street local police arrested Ms. Shen Zili, Ms. Xu Hongmei, Ms. Hou Yaqian, and an over 60-year-old female practitioner on January 13, 2007. Their personal belongings, including their cellphones, were confiscated. Presently they are imprisoned at the First Detention Center of Qiqihar City, where they are being tortured to "confess."

In January Changchun City officials secretly intruded into residences to arrest practitioners by claiming that they were conducting a general survey of registered permanent addresses.
On January 18, personnel from the Shuguang Road Local Police Station of Changchun City arrested practitioners Ms. Song Guirong and Ms. Song Bohui. They are imprisoned at the Third Detention Center of Changchun City, and their family members are not allowed to visit them.
25. [Mancheng County, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Jianli and Mr. Yang Jianliang Arrested
When practitioners Mr. Yang Jianli and Mr. Yang Jianliang from Mancheng County, Baoding City, drove to a place near Fangshun Bridge to distribute truth clarification materials on the evening of January 23, they were arrested by police from Mancheng County. Mr. Yang Jianli and Mr. Yang Jianliang live in the Liangyuan Neighborhood in Mancheng County.

27. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] More Than Ten Practitioners Arrested
In the past three days, at least 10 practitioners from the Shuangyang District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, have been arrested. Those whose names are known include Mr. Wang Zhongping, Ms. Zhang Yingfang, Mr. Zhao Dequan, and Ms. Li Li. These practitioners are all imprisoned at the Third Detention Center of Changchun City.
28. [Bobai County, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Ms. Wang Jizhen and Ms. Wang Yanping Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Wang Jizhen from the Guangxi Autonomous Region was arrested on September 7, 2006, by police from Bobai County. Ten days later Ms. Wang Yanping was arrested. At present Ms. Wang Jizhen is imprisoned at the Detention Center of Bobai County, Ms. Wang Yanping is imprisoned in the Bobai County Detention Center. They are forced to do slave labor, and sometimes they can only rest for two or three hours a day.
According to people who have been released from that detention center, Ms. Wang Yanping suffered inhuman torture such as merciless beatings, being soaked with water, and so on. She was enduring enormous pain.

29. [Jiaonan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jia Quanmei Arrested
On the morning of January 22, 2007, practitioner Ms. Jia Quanmei from Yinzhu Town, Jiaonan City, Shandong Province, was arrested by the police. She has been sent to the Jiaonan City Detention Center. It is said that she will be held there for 15 days. Ms. Jia was just released from the Jinan Forced Labor Camp not long ago.
30. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xie Yuqing Arrested in Liaoning Province
In Changchun City, the destitute and homeless practitioner Ms. Xie Yuqing, about 67 years old, was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials at Sujiatun in Shenyang City on or about January 17, 2007. To this day, her whereabouts remain unknown.

Practitioner Mr. Ye Changqing from the Tiexi District, Shenyang City, went to the local Santaizi Neighborhood Police Station of Yuhong District on January 23 to demand the release of practitioner Zhang Xiao. He was detained in the local Santaizi Neighborhood Police Station in the Yuhong District. To this day, he still has not returned, and his home has been ransacked.

32. [Suzhou City, Anhui Province] Practitioners Being Severely Mistreated in the Third Prison
The Third Prison of Suzhou City, Anhui Province, persecutes imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners without restraint, including forcing them to do overly intense slave labor, completely depriving them of their right to meet with their family members, and forcing other criminals to monitor and mercilessly beat them. Recently, practitioner Mr. Wang Zhiqiang from Huainan City went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution. He was completely stripped and his whole body was blue and purple. Mr. Wang Zhiqiang's current whereabouts are unclear.
Practitioner Mr. Fang Yingzhou from Zongyang County went on a hunger strike to resist persecution. The guards shocked him with electric batons, beat him with rubber clubs, and also pricked his fingers with big needles. One needle broke in his finger, so the guard cut his finger open with a knife to take out the broken needle. It was unbearable to see.
33. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhu Chengqian Arrested
On the morning of January 23, 2007, policeman Dong Shiguo from the National Security Brigade, together with policemen from the Dalianwan local police station, arrested practitioner Mr. Zhu Chengqian, who was working, and another practitioner. The other practitioner walked away from the Dalianwan station that afternoon with righteous thoughts. Mr. Zhu Chengqian is imprisoned in Dalianwan Police Station.

35. [Zoucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Guimei and Others Are Arrested
On the evening of January 22, 2007, practitioners Ms. Jiang Guimei, her husband, and Ms. Jing Guifeng, who were employed by the Yankuang Group Corporation Limited in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province, were all arrested at the same time by personnel from Jidong Police Department of the Yankuang Group Corporation Limited. Now the three of them are imprisoned at the Nantunkuang Boarding House of the Yankuang Group Corporation. The authorities are prepared to give them physical examinations on the 24th. Before their arrest, a practitioner from the 70th division of the Yankuang Group Corporation was arrested by a vicious person at Jidong New Village.
36. [Wuqing District, Tianjin City] Two Practitioners Arrested
On the morning of January 22, 2007, when practitioners Ms. Zhu Baorong and Ms. Zhu Meitian from Guangshan Village, Dongmaquan Township, the Wuqing District, Tianjin City, were distributing truth clarification materials at the fair trade market in Dongmaquan Township, they were arrested by plainclothes police from the local police station of Dongmaquan Township in the Wuqing District. At 7 p.m that night, these two practitioners were taken to Wuqing District detention center.
37. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jiang Jie Suffers Gastric Perforation from Force Feeding
Practitioner Ms. Jiang Jie from Fushun City, Liaoning Province, was arrested in October 2006 and sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Jiang Jie is on a hunger strike to protest the illegal imprisonment. She has already deteriorated to the point that she is only thin skin and bones. When the guards force fed her, the inserted tube and injured her stomach, causing gastric perforation. She was sent to the hospital affiliated with the Chinese Medical College. Two days ago the authorities informed her family to submit money for her treatment.
38. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Persecution Facts Regarding Ms. Liu Yougui
Ms. Liu Yougui is a practitioner from Yuanhengguangtun Village in Huangyuquan Township, Nong'an County, Jilin Province. In December 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal and was delivered by the Beijing Police Department to the Nong'an County Detention Center. Because she persisted in reciting Dafa scriptures and doing the exercises, the police tortured her with the "Big Hang up" (1) and put shackles on her. She was persecuted for more than four months.
In November 2001, Ms. Liu visited her relatives. On her way home she was arrested by the Huangyuquan Township local police station and sent to the Nong'an County Detention Ceneter, where she was persecuted for 15 days.
In June 2002, Ms. Liu Yougui went to Nantaizi Village in Qingshan Township to clarify the truth. She was arrested by village public security Director Sun Youtian and sent to Dongdaqiao Prison in Nong'an County. Two months later, she was sent to Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City to serve one year of forced labor. She suffered inhumanly there and was brainwashed. After going home, her family members were intimidated by the "red terror" and opposed her studying the Fa and practicing exercises. Ms. Liu Yougui was forced to give up Dafa and suffered a relapse of her old disease. She died on October 8, 2004.

Practitioner Ms. Fu Xiang is an accountant in the financial division of Changchun Polytechnic University. On the evening of January 22, Ms. Fu Xiangin was arrested at home by policemen from the Weixing Road local police station in Changchun City. She was sent to the Third Detention Center in Shuangyang, Changchun City on the 23rd.
41. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Wang Lei Mistreated in Baimiao Forced Labor Camp
Practitioner Mr. Wang Lei from Zhoukou City, Zhengzhou City, who lives at the grain bureau of Zhoukou City, was arrested and sent to Baimiao Forced Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City in November 2005. Afterwards, the authorities secretly transferred Mr. Wang from the third brigade to the second brigade. In May and June 2006 he refused to answer unreasonable inquiries. He was beaten and verbally abused by Deputy Chief Lu Shuangfu, who specifically persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners in the second brigade. When Mr. Wang went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution, the guards of the second brigade incited "the prison monitor" personnel at the labor camp to beat him and force feed him food and dirty water from the spittoon. In September 2006, Mr. Wang Lei persisted in practicing the exercises indoors. Policeman Wang Dongdong beat and derided him.

(1) "Big hang-up" There are two forms in this torture: (1) With both hands cuffed behind the back and only toes touching the ground, one is hung by a rope that is tied to the metal window frames; (2) One hand of a practitioner is cuffed to one bunk bed and the other hand to another bed, and the two beds are pulled in the opposite directions.
