(Clearwisdom.net) For a period of time, articles that I wrote were published on the Internet, and I was very pleased. I was also proud of the local variety column that I personally produced, wherein my articles were usually published as experience articles. One day, an unfamiliar practitioner asked about the author of an article I wrote. I replied that I did not know, and I only knew it was written by a local practitioner. I asked the editor not to put my name on my articles, but I was pleased inside to see that my pen name was there the next time one of my articles was published. When a fellow practitioner taught me some technical skills, I boasted that I was a smart, fast learner. Nevertheless, recently one of my articles was not published, and this puzzled me a lot.
Today, when I read the article "Don't Pass Through This World for Nothing" (http://minghui.org/mh/articles/2007/11/1/165623.html) from the Fourth Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Practitioners in China, I found that a similar situation happened to the fellow practitioner who wrote the article. I gained an even better understanding of the deeply hidden attachment of showing off and zealotry that was reflected within my own field.
I came to realize the seriousness of this matter. I was using the grand current of Fa-rectification to validate myself. In actuality, how much can we do ourselves? Everything is done by Teacher. Teacher just utilizes our hearts that are willing to sacrifice for Dafa, and this cultivation form, so that he can temper and forge us. We should immediately defer all of the honor and titles, that come in the course of validating the Fa and saving sentient beings, to Teacher and Dafa, because all of our skills and talents originate from Dafa, and we are lives created by Dafa and chosen by Teacher. On our cultivation paths, Teacher's immense compassion and caring protection has guided disciples, who were selfish beings in the old cosmos, to walk toward a brand new cosmos and become true particles of the Fa.
I would like to express my boundless gratitude to Teacher for saving me. I press my hands together and bow to thank my esteemed Teacher.
