(Clearwisdom.net) I will talk about my experiences of validating the Fa and saving sentient beings from the perspective of processing truth-clarification material. This is the I have path taken. During the past two years I have set up a family truth-clarification material processing site to reproduce Teacher's recent articles and copies of "Minghui Weekly" and the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party". Local truth-clarification pamphlets and truth-clarifying VCDs and DVDs are reproduced periodically as needed. The entire process was simply incredible. Every step reflected Teacher's compassionate hints and caring. Every step also reflected the interference from the forces aligned against us.

I came across all kinds of interference when first establishing the site. I could not find a practitioner with all the necessary technical skills and so I learned how myself. Difficulties keeping paper, ink, and other items on hand nearly paralyzed the processing site. I experienced many difficulties and serious tests at work. Finally, I had to stop working altogether. I earned no salary for a very long time. We had to move. It took a lot of time and effort to find a new house and purchase furniture. Miraculously, our material processing site developed steadily. At the time, fellow practitioners needed a large quantity of copies of the Nine Commentaries on Communist Party. The few practitioners at the processing site overcame all sorts of difficulties to produce the number of materials requested on time. Suddenly, one these practitioners died. It felt as if one of my family members had died. I knew that I must not be frightened when facing this test of life and death. At this serious time, my righteous thoughts needed to be strong and I had to increase my efforts to clarify the truth. Thereafter, I decided to produce local truth-clarification pamphlets periodically and help with the local page of the Minghui Weekly to expose the local evil factors.

Later I began a new job and had to close the truth-clarification material site. I wondered why I came across so many tribulations when doing things to save sentient beings? I realized that my starting point was based on the notion of self. My thinking was that "I must put all my effort into the processing of truth-clarification materials. I must increase my truth-clarification efforts. I must reach such and such a goal in clarifying the truth." Although I was doing Dafa work, I based it all on myself or on the notion of self. The more I focused on myself, the more severe the tribulations became. At that time I was not able to enlighten to it. I covered it up, using the excuse that I was doing Dafa work. I kept on prodding and pushing ahead. The more I prodded and pushed, the more antagonistic I became about my job. Finally, I pushed myself to a dead end. I have fully enlightened that I must abandon this pseudo self, because it is not me. That self was formed out of acquired concepts and notions that, as a practitioner, I must cultivate away. After leaving that pseudo self behind, I really felt very light and that things were different. I found that my previous understanding on saving sentient beings was too narrow. I thought that only by making materials or advising people to quit the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) face to face was I saving sentient beings. I put Dafa work in conflict with my job, family, and society by thinking that my job, family, and society were wasting a lot of my time. As a result, they interfered with Fa rectification. Actually there was no conflict. The people we meet every day--family, relatives, friends and strangers--are on our path for our cultivation and their predestination. Events and situations are all part of Fa rectification and meant for the saving of sentient beings by Teacher. As long as our righteous thoughts are strong, we are validating the Fa and saving sentient beings. I went to work with these strong righteous thoughts, hoping to save sentient beings. The environment at work changed tremendously after my starting point changed. The whole environment became a benevolent, righteous field. I felt my own benevolence surrounding everyone.

Teacher said,

"The focus for you right now is simply to find ways to do better, to be more efficient, to have a greater impact, and to save more people. Aside from what you as individuals need to go through and establish on your final road to Consummation, what is most important for you and most significant right now is to save people." ("Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital")

I had a very shallow understanding when I first read this paragraph of Fa. I thought saving more sentient beings meant having better skills or reaching a higher professional level. Just like the performers in the Divine Performing Arts Arts work to improve their skills, I should improve the truth-clarification materials. I thought that practitioners were creating them for the people in the future, so I used my spare time to expand my knowledge and skills related to editing and design. Since my focus was not the Fa, my status was not good, and the truth-clarification materials I edited had problems. The photos were too large for mailing. After watching "Teaching the Fa to Australian Falun Dafa Practitioners," my understanding has changed. The pursuit of technical perfection is not the first priority in producing truth-clarification materials. The key is how we can cultivate and upgrade ourselves in the process. We must set a very high standard for our words and deeds to establish the very firm righteous thoughts of a Falun Dafa practitioner. We must be within the Fa at all times, use our righteous thoughts to clarify the truth, and save sentient beings. During this process, miracles will happen and the outcome will be naturally beautiful and outstanding. I think what practitioners are creating for the people of the future are not outstanding techniques and perfect works, but noble, righteous examples of divine beings.

We Falun Dafa practitioners are one body. The power of the Fa will manifest when we coordinate and cooperate well to do what we should. An individual who is doing well only achieves for the individual. What Teacher expects is for the whole body to do well. Therefore, we must cultivate away the notion of self as soon as possible. Let go of the remnants that are not in line with the Fa, so as to completely assimilate to the Fa. If every practitioner can do well in this aspect, the one body will coordinate well. This is the new universe, which will be as solid as diamond!
