(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

1. Detention Center Head in Fufeng County, Shanxi Province Receives Karmic Retribution

In 2000, the newly appointed Fufeng County Detention Center head Wang Jianxin actively participated in persecuting Dafa practitioners.

While in office, he used cigarettes to get prisoners to aid and abet him to harass practitioners. He strictly monitored the practitioners to keep them from studying Falun Dafa teachings or practicing the exercises. When practitioners went on a collective hunger strike, Wang Jianxin dispatched armed policemen and doctors to force-feed or inject practitioners with harmful drugs. He ordered four or five policemen to bang practitioners' heads against a wall, punch and kick them, tie them up, force them to hold a half-squat position, etc.

He personally beat practitioners and once kicked a wounded practitioner. The practitioner's right elbow was fractured at that time and was fixed by steel plates. Wang Jianxin lashed the practitioner's face with a bunch of keys and roared, "I don't believe I can't beat you into submission."

He ordered six armed policemen to beat the practitioner mercilessly. As they did so, Wang looked at him with a sinister smile and said, "I am depriving you of your human rights. What can you do about it? Let your Master give me karmic retribution!"

Wang Jianxin was disciplined and sentenced to three years in prison in the winter of 2001 for blinding a prisoner by beating him with a belt. Wang claimed that he had stomach cancer and applied for hospitalization outside the prison. Later on he did get stomach cancer and died on April 25, 2005 at age of 53.

2. Lu County Police Chief Sun Shihe Loses His Son as Karmic Retribution for Beating Practitioners

Sun Shihe, the former police chief in Lu County, is now the director of the Rizhao City Traffic Police Department. While in office in Lu County, he personally beat Falun Gong practitioners and forced their family members to watch the beatings. Several days ago, Sun Shihe's son went to Hebei Province and died in a car accident on the Xin Tai freeway.

3. Village Head Leng Yanbing Suffers Karmic Retribution

Leng Yanbing, 56 years old, was the head of Dakuaijiagou Village, Ducun Town, Jiaozhou. Ever since July 20, 1999 when the CPP began to persecute Falun Gong, Leng Yanbing cooperated with the town government officials and those from the police station to search Falun Gong practitioners' homes and confiscate their belongings, as well as threaten and arrest them. Leng Yanbing died of cancer in September 2004.
