(Clearwisdom.net) For several years, I have clarified the truth about Falun Gong by handing out materials to people and talking to them face to face. Thus far, I have not let the persecutors arrest me or take me away. I encountered some sudden interference several times, but I experienced no danger and I was able to overcome it thanks to Teacher's strengthening. During this process, I indeed realized what Teacher had said:

"The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston")

The following are several examples of my experiences in clarifying the truth face to face with people.

1. Copying Truth-Clarification Materials by Hand

I work in a small sewing shop and I have not been in the area for a long time. I did not know a single fellow practitioner in the area. Therefore, I could not get any Dafa materials, so I clarified the truth by word-of-mouth. One day, a friend who worked with me, gave me a Falun Gong truth-clarification flier and I bought some carbon paper and made copies of that flier that was given to me. I made sure to make three to four copies every time, so I could be sure that I had materials to give out every day.

When I was on the street or shopping, I gave people fliers. I was not afraid, so people on the streets all accepted the materials sincerely. In the shop, I also clarified the truth to my customers every day. One day, a middle-aged person came in and before he left, I gave him my hand-written flier and told him that he would have good future after reading it. He then walked out the door, had a quick look at it, put it into his pocket, and left.

The next day, the shop owner asked me if I gave a Falun Gong flier to someone the previous day. A person came to see him the previous night and said that he worked in for the Public Security Bureau. Apparently, he and his wife both practice Falun Gong, and wanted to pass on a message to me that I should not write out materials by hand due to safety reasons. I knew that our merciful Teacher always considers students' safety and He used this person's words to remind me to pay attention to my safety.

Soon after that, I found a fellow practitioner who could supply me with a large amount of materials.

2. Crowd of Construction Workers

Since my issue with truth clarification materials was resolved, I no longer needed to spend massive amounts time to make copies by hand. This gave me more time to clarify the truth to people. As I was handing out materials, I saw some people throw them away after just glancing at it. I thought, "Why don't I just go clarify the truth to them face to face? It will not only save on materials, but I will also gain firsthand knowledge of people's attitude towards Dafa."

I remember the first time I went out to clarify the truth in this way. I walked into a village and saw a person who was cleaning windows and doors. I walked over and said, "Sir, I have a video CD here that you can watch when you have time. It will benefit you." He said, "What is it?" I said, "It is the truth about Falun Gong." Immediately, a group of people came down from roof because they knew it was Falun Gong information and they quickly took all the CDs.

I was only focusing on how to clarify the facts to that one person and I did not notice that there were so many people on the roof. When it happened, it caused me to become really frightened. Some people did not get a CD and asked me if I could deliver one to them the next day. They also said, "I only know about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Communist Party, and also have read your fliers and banners but I have never seen a practitioner in person. This time, I now get to see a practitioner of Falun Gong."

3. A Heavy Snow

In the winter of 2004, there was heavy snowfall so I thought, "The materials are ready but the snow is so thick. Should I still go out to clarify the truth? I immediately realized that practitioners should have selflessness and altruism, so why should I be frightened by a little difficulty such as this?" Thus, I took materials and started off down the road with a very slippery surface. I stepped into thick snow but I kept pushing my bike further. Once and a while, the snow got stuck in between the wheels and the iron hoop that is attached to outer rim of the wheel so I could not push it forward. I found a tree branch on the roadside to clear the snow. I also fell down during the trip but my determination to save sentient beings was not affected.

Later, I walked to the village market because the sky had just cleared after the snow. It was crowded and lively and it was as if the people there were waiting there to be saved. I pushed the bike and at the same time, clarified the facts to them. At that time, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party were not yet published, so I just talked about the evilness and corruption of the CCP. Some villagers were shocked after they heard that the "Tiananmen self-immolation incident" was staged and wondered why the government would fabricate such things. Some people went home right away to watch the video. Some kind-hearted people expressed their appreciation to me for delivering materials for free to them in the snow. They also invited me to have a meal with them. A worker from another city asked, "Can I have a few more so I can show people when I go home for the New Year?"A large bag of materials was distributed within only two hours. When I arrived home, my undergarments were soaked with sweat.

4. A Shovel

Another time when I was on my way to clarify the truth, a tractor drove past me from behind. It suddenly dropped a shovel several meters in front of me, but the couple on the tractor did not notice and kept driving forward. I called to them, but they did not hear me so I picked up the shovel and ran after them. A passer-by in front of them alerted them to it so they stopped and looked at me with a smile. I walked over to them and handed them the shovel and made a joke, "You don't even want your shovel?" They kept thanking me for it, so I realized that I had an opportunity and asked indirectly, "Did either one of you join any CCP groups while in school?" The man said, "I am a retired soldier and also a party member." The woman said, "I am a member of CCP Youth League." I then said, "Have you heard that heaven is about to eliminate the CCP? You should quit the party and youth league just to be safe. A party member is a part of the Communist Party and if you do not quit, you will be implicated in the future for its crimes. What's your name? It is fine to use an alias. Can I help you to try and quit now?" The man said, "OK. I hereby quit the party," and he then gave me their names. He went on to say, "I was saying to my wife earlier that the CCP is not good."

I took out a copy of the Nine Commentaries and a truth-clarification CD and said, "There are many true things that you do not know which are contained within this book. Take a good look at it and you and your whole family will benefit." He said, "Sure. Thank you! I'll read it carefully."

Thus, a shovel falling on the ground gave me an opportunity to save two people. After this, I recalled my understanding of what Teacher said about how all substances and forms of matter in the universe have spirits and that they all can help you. That shovel also has a life and possibly dropped intentionally just to save the couple.

5. An Elder with a Predestined Relationship to Learn Dafa

I met an older man and I mentioned "Falun Gong" to him and he immediately said excitedly, "I would like to practice Falun Gong, but I was unable to find a practitioner. People on the streets say that the CCP will collapse and that its members will face disaster. Is it true?" I replied, "Yes it is true, but those who do good deeds, treat Falun Dafa with kindness, and break away from the evil party will avoid disaster. Isn't there a saying that truly good people can avoid disaster?" The man replied, "Then can you bring me a Dafa book because I also want to practice Falun Gong?" I said to him, "OK, but I do not have it with me, is your home far from here?" He said, "Very far, I come only for the market." To which I replied, "Let's arrange a time to meet again. You wait for me here at the same time in two days and I'll deliver it to you." The man agreed and repeatedly thanked me before he left.

The man was already waiting there before I arrived there two days later. Nearly a month later, on my way to clarify the truth, I ran into him again. He was excited and said, "I have been wondering for the past several days when I would be able see you again. It is such a coincidence that I have come across you again today." I said, "Elder, you are a good person and Teacher saw that you have a sincere heart and is willing to help you. It is all your predestined relationship." He replied, "I thank Teacher Li for this, indeed. You and I are both students in the same school, so you do not have to call me elder anymore." I told him, "Your enlightenment quality is high."

He said, "I've read the Zhuan Falun and watched the Nine Commentaries CD that you gave me. A few days ago, I passed by here and saw five copies of the Nine Commentaries that were just lying on the ground in a subsection. I did not want them to go to waste so I picked them up and gave them to people passing by on the road."

I said, "You did the right thing as our materials are too precious." Before I left, I gave him several copies of the Nine Commentaries. I asked, "Can you give them to the villagers in that are in your village?" He replied, "You can rest assured. I will do it for sure." After the man left, I thought: "If fellow practitioners do more face to face truth-clarification, then surely we can meet more people with a predestined relationship.

More sentient beings are waking up. Fellow practitioners must cherish our truth-clarification materials because fellow practitioners have put much painstaking effort and even their own lives into their production. When clarifying the truth, we should do it from the heart and use our compassion to do a better job of saving people.

6. A Policeman with a Predestined Relationship

Once, I saw two people irrigating their crops and I felt that they also had predestined relationship so I stopped my bike. I then a crossed a road to give some materials to them. A middle-aged person pointed to a young man and said to me, "He is a policeman and you dare to publicize Falun Gong here?" The young man replied, "I actually work at the Police Station. What you are doing is fine. Falun Gong is a just a belief and I am not against Falun Gong because I know that you are all good people."

While I explained the truth to them, I also convinced them to withdraw from the CCP Youth League. Afterwards, I gave the young police officer an amulet and a copy of the Nine Commentaries. He said, "I would also like to read a Falun Gong book."

He must have had a predestined relationship because I just happened to have a copy of Zhuan Falun with me. I told him to cherish this Dafa book. He said that he would cherish it for sure and would read it sincerely. I reminded him, "Tell your colleagues not to persecute Falun Gong because it is no good for them." He said, "Elder sister, you go back and tell the other Falun Gong practitioners not to be afraid because our policemen here all know that the persecution of Falun Gong is unjust. As long as the CCP's cadres do not force us to do anything about it and even when we get a phone call about it, we won't do anything. Now, about 80 - 900f us do not participate in persecuting Falun Gong."

I said later to fellow practitioners, "I am so happy that a policeman was saved today" and all three of us laughed. After I told a fellow practitioner about it, the practitioner said, "Yeah, policemen are also victims of the persecution as well and are sentient beings that need to be saved."

There are many of more cases like this because I came across many different things every time I went out to clarify the truth, but I won't describe each of them here. I know that I am still far away from being a diligent practitioner and still have many attachments such as the competitive mentality. My attachments of showing off and jealousy are still strong. I vow to study the Fa more and cultivate myself even better. During these last moments of Fa-rectification, I hope that all fellow practitioners do the three things well to deserve the title of Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples. I also hope that we will all continue to save sentient beings, strive forward in cultivation and ultimately reach consummation and return with Teacher.
