(Clearwisdom.net) After I went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing on December 13, 2000 to appeal for Falun Dafa, the police arrested and detained me in Beijing's Fangshan Detention Center. Because I refused to reveal my name or home address, they handcuffed me behind my back for thirteen days. During that time, I was forced to sit by the ice-cold pond day and night, and I was brutally force-fed every day. A female head guard shouted, "If you persist, we'll have you cremated aliave!"
On December 26, 2000, I was transferred to Dongli Detention Center in Tianjin City. On the first day there, a guard told me, "The director wants to see you." I was taken to a room, where the director of the detention center was waiting. "You look like a good person at first glance," he said shrewdly. "Everyone imprisoned in your detention center is a good person," I replied. "Get out," the director shouted in outrage. As soon as I arrived at my own cell, the director came in with four other guards. They brought in a big bowl of fluid and wanted me to drink it. When I refused, the director grabbed my hair and pulled me all the way into another empty room, where the four guards pushed me to the ground while their boss stuffed into my mouth a big bottle filled with salted water and a little bit of milk. His brute force cut my gums and exposed the bottom of my teeth.
On December 29, 2000, a policeman from the Beijing Office of Jixi City recognized me and took me to the office, where another officer, Hou Li, stole 40 yuan from me and threw my watch on the floor. While I was detained in the Jixi Office in Beijing, officer Hou Li often cursed Dafa and its founder.
On the eve of the 2001 New Year, they took me to Jixi No. 2 Detention Center, where they imprisoned me for over four months, until the authorities sentenced me to one year in a forced labor camp. They imprisoned me in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. As a result of the persecution in the forced labor camp, I contracted scabies. During the imprisonment, the guards injected some unknown drugs into my body. Because I pulled out the needle and refused to use any medicine, officer Shang beat me.
Another female guard surnamed Ma tried to stop practitioners in her section from doing the Falun Gong exercises. She did the same to the practitioners in other sections as well. In December 2001, she tried to deprive us of the right to sleep. She beat up whoever fell asleep with a stick and kept that person awake.
On December 13, 2001, I was released from the forced labor camp. Aware I was still practicing Falun Gong, the local police where I previously lived refused to let me return, and I was therefore forced to wander about on the streets to avoid illegal arrest.
As my ID was confiscated back on July 20, 1999 by officer Tao Lixin, I had a problem getting the minimum benefit from my former employer. I decided to get my ID back from the 610 Office of Jixi City. Yang Daren, the 610 Office head, said, "As a Falun Gong practitioner, how can you deserve the minimum benefit?" "As a Chinese citizen, I am entitled to the basic right of minimum benefit," I responded. "We won't give you the ID until you can be 'transformed,'" Yang said. As a result, I was deprived of my right to the minimum benefit of 117 yuan per month.
