(Clearwisdom.net) On September 2, during the Cowboy Festival Parade in Ellensburg, the Falun Gong practitioners’ procession was warmly welcomed by local residents and tourists. The Cowboy Festival and Market is a major community event in central Washington. Many spectators greeted practitioners and mimicked the movements of practitioners who were demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises on a float.

Practitioners’ waist drum and lion troupe brought great joy to the spectators. Children were fascinated by the lions. The celestial maidens standing on the float also were very popular and received a lot of praise. Some residents who didn’t receive handouts ran to catch practitioners to request the materials.

During the parade, practitioners found that the local residents were even more friendly to practitioners than last year. Many people took their initiative to ask practitioners questions about Falun Gong and the persecution, creating good opportunities for practitioners to clarify the truth.
