Sharing article from the 2006 European Fa Conference

Greetings, Master and fellow practitioners!

I am 18. My parents and I obtained the Fa in October 1997 in China. It wasn't long before a Fa study group was set up at our home. We studied the Fa together with Dafa disciples living nearby. We were all diligent together in studying the Fa and cultivating.

After the persecution started in July 1999, I almost gave up cultivation because I was too fond of playing and especially crazy about all kinds of computer games. As my parents refused to renounce their cultivation, they became the focus of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. In order to resist the persecution, they had to give up their good jobs and decided to escape from China. In early 2002, my parents and I went to Russia, where I rejoined my fellow practitioners in Dafa cultivation.

Because the CCP had extended the persecution overseas, the Russian police, who didn't know the facts about Falun Gong, bowed to pressure from the CCP Embassy and arrested my parents. They took them to the repatriation center in an attempt to deport them back to China. Time and again, we took this opportunity of numerous appeals to clarify the truth about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. All along the Russian government refused our application for asylum for no reason other than pressure from the CCP. But with Master's strengthening and help from our fellow practitioners, we were finally rescued, and transferred to Sweden from Russia by the UN Organization of Human Rights in May of last year.

Since coming to Sweden, we have used the Internet to clarify the truth based on our circumstances. We have also tried to attend Fa-rectification activities held in other European countries and regions. Now I would like to share a bit of my own experiences with you.

We are now living in a beautiful small city where there are almost no Chinese people. At the beginning, we couldn't wait to move to a big city such as Stockholm or Gothenburg in order to clarify the truth to more Chinese. Later we realized that wherever Dafa disciples are, we should do everything well. So we set our hearts at rest and tried our best to do what Dafa disciples should do. We should bring the goodness of Dafa to the people living in the small city and fulfill our historic mission. My parents often practice the Falun Gong exercises on the school campus after their Swedish language class, or near a small bridge in the City Center park. They hang up a banner, set up a small exhibition board, and display many Dafa truth clarification materials in all languages before they start the exercises. This way, while they are doing the exercises, the passersby can look at the display board and read the materials. The principal of my school often sees my parents practicing Falun Gong on campus when he goes to attend meetings at the adult school. The beautiful music of Falun Gong and the peaceful movements have deeply impressed the people of our small city. They are shocked when they learn that Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted in China.

I also take every opportunity to clarify the truth and let more people know about Dafa. On December 1 of last year, a community multicultural exhibition was held. The head teacher invited many people to visit the school.

Before the exhibition, the principal in charge of school affairs came to our class, hoping that the students from different countries would each make a brief introduction of their own homeland. She turned to me and said, "You may draw a national flag of China for this exhibition." I immediately said to her, "No. The red flag is the symbol of the CCP. The CCP has murdered more than 80 million Chinese people. My family came to Sweden because the CCP was persecuting my parents." At that time, I had only studied Swedish for about three months and couldn't explain anymore to her. The next day I gave the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in Swedish to both my teacher and the principal. They said, "We've understood the situation, and you can bring whatever you like to the exhibition."

When I got home, I consulted with my parents. We all thought it was indeed a great opportunity to clarify the truth! It was the first time for me to tell the facts about Falun Gong in front of so many people. I felt sorry about my limited knowledge of the language because I couldn't explain everything clearly in Swedish. Later, I thought, "That's all right. I am sure that Master will help me with that."

On the eve of the exhibition, my parents and I had the Dafa truth clarification materials ready and had made many beautiful paper lotus flowers. Early the next morning at school, the principal and teacher were pleased with my preparations. They exclaimed, "Great!" We put some lotus flowers on the tables, which immediately made the whole hall look very beautiful.

That day, our school invited many guests. The principal, who knew the truth about Falun Gong, acted as a voluntary commentator. With a smile, she led guests to me, handed over truth clarification materials and lotus flowers to each guest, and told them about my experience. A young lady earnestly read the truth clarification materials immediately. She didn't even take the time to accept the lotus flower from us. After she read the material, she asked the principal many questions. While explaining, the principal did some Falun Gong exercise movements. I was very happy to see that so many people were learning about Dafa and hearing the truth. I wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, "Thank you, Master!"

In order to clarify the truth more efficiently via the Internet, we bought a very good computer. Playing computer games used to be a great attachment of mine, and my parents were worried about me and often reminded me of eliminating this interference. By studying the Fa, I gradually realized that my addiction to computer games was caused by the old forces taking advantage of my attachments to persecute me. I should do what Dafa disciples should do. The time of Fa-rectification is limited and I should set my mind on rectifying the Fa and saving sentient beings.

At first, I only did the tasks recommended by fellow practitioners. Later I found other Internet tools that complemented each other. In this way, two tools could run automatically and collaboratively. They can upload the Nine Commentaries and Dafa truth clarification materials around the clock, without stopping. I noticed that many people downloaded the Nine Commentaries and Dafa truth clarification materials every day. I felt very happy because they had the chance to be saved. At the same time, I was also considering finding some other ways of clarifying the truth using the Internet. Later, I noticed that some people who had been poisoned by the evil Party for a long time often raised many questions when my parents manually sent truth clarification information and the Nine Commentaries to friends on the Internet. I thought that the best way to answer their questions was to have them obtain or listen to the Nine Commentaries, which could liberate them from the lies imposed on them by the evil Party.

In order to let Chinese people know about the Nine Commentaries and the true facts about Dafa, I often share experiences with fellow practitioners, which has helped me a lot. I have also tried to use the Internet as a way of broadcasting automatically, like a radio station, which can broadcast the Nine Commentaries as well as news from the Sound of Hope radio to friends on the Internet. By doing this, I can work with my parents in clarifying the truth and distributing the Nine Commentaries. I can use tools to break through the Internet blockade and help people quit the CCP organizations, as well as help them to send their declarations of withdrawal. In order to make it convenient for other practitioners to clarify the truth using the Internet, I have compiled my experiences into a teaching manual and shared it with them.

The Nine Commentaries are constantly cleaning up the contamination and poisonous effects that the Communist evil specter has imposed on people all over the world. People are now awakening. Those who have listened to the Nine Commentaries have felt that they are more courageous than before. Usually, more than thirty people log onto the Internet and listen to the broadcast on weekends. Sometimes two or three people are listening to it at the same time. A friend on the Internet listened to the broadcast for almost seven hours continuously. Some listened to it four times in one day and others withdrew from all organizations of the CCP while listening. An online friend from Dalian City felt very sad because another friend of his, a practitioner, had been arrested. He was very excited when he found us on the Internet. He not only quit the Young Pioneers but said that he wanted to learn Falun Gong as well. I helped him log onto the Minghui/Clearwisdom and The Epoch Times websites, and he read through the Nine Commentaries that same night. He also consulted with us on how to persuade his family members to quit the CCP. Some Chinese on the Internet regard us as their intimate friends and tell us about their pain and sorrow under the totalitarianism of the evil CCP. They hope we will pass on more news to them in a timely manner and they have great expectations for us. Many Internet users came back to look for us in the chat room after having talked with us. It is very touching and a great encouragement for us to do even better in the future.

Clarifying the truth via the Internet is highly efficient, simple and can reach many people. I often offer technical support to practitioners nearby in Finland and Norway using long-distance teaching methods. Within a short period of time, I twice went to Gothenburg. It took me 25 hours to get there by bus and I needed only a couple of bus transfers to get there. I had a strong mentality of taking Dafa work as performing a job, and I neglected Fa study, doing the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts. I only regarded clarifying the truth as the most important thing. I was not enlightened to it, although Master gave me hints many times. I couldn't even accept my parents' advice. I felt unwell physically for some time, but even so, I wasn't enlightened. Later my Internet work was interfered with as well. Only by studying the Fa with a pure and peaceful heart for a period of time did I realize the seriousness of cultivation. The more important the task I do, the more closely the evil stares at me. We must do the three things well at all times. Otherwise, it would be easy for the evil to exploit our loopholes. I hope fellow practitioners will learn a lesson from this.

It has been my heartfelt experience during my short period of cultivation that the three things must be done well at the same time and that studying the Fa is the most important. Only by studying the Fa continually are we clear about what we are doing now. When we really want to do something well, Master will give us wisdom. For example, although I used to be only a child addicted to computer games and had never formally learned how to use a computer, I am now very good at using it to clarify the truth, something I couldn't have imagined before. I know it was wisdom endowed to me by our compassionate Master and it is a manifestation of Dafa's power. I will take advantage of my know-how in computers to do well my part in Fa-rectification and live up to Master's compassionate salvation.

I also realized that using the Internet radio auto-broadcasting function, combined with flexible manual approaches to clarify the facts, did not affect other automatic truth-clarifying programs. On the contrary, it increased the efficiency of the other programs. From this we can see that these truth-clarifying tools strive to play their respective roles during the Fa-rectification period. We really need to make good use of them.
