(Clearwisdom.net) A five-day Falun Gong Study Camp for Schoolteachers was successfully held in North Taoyuan, Taiwan.

Mr. Dai, secretary of the College of Science at National Taiwan University, was invited to host the experience sharing session. He bought five copies of Zhuan Falun with his own money to present to the first five teachers who gave speeches. Mr. Dai said, "The book contains all the tenets of Falun Gong. Everybody should take a good look at it, especially the schoolteachers who attend this study camp. Many teachers who practiced Falun Gong and brought ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance’ to their classrooms are helping more students benefit. They are thus playing a very good role in purifying society."

At the experience sharing session, many schoolteachers expressed their thoughts and feelings. A male teacher from Longtan said, "This study time is too short. At the beginning, I thought the study time would be the whole day, later I learned that it’s only half a day. Time is too short. … Before attending the study camp, I did not know Falun Gong. Since attending this study camp, I’ve gradually developed a curiosity toward Falun Gong. In the past days, I also got on some Falun Gong’s websites to take a look, and understand that Falun Gong truly teaches people to cultivate their "xinxing". This practice is really good."

Mr. Li, a teacher from Bei Men Elementary School said, "Though I only attended two days’ study sessions, I’m deeply impressed! Yesterday, I came one hour early, and unexpectedly I found that the work staff had come earlier than I did. They carefully arranged the conference site, and I was moved. At the same time, a song was played at the site (named ‘Wish’); I wanted to cry as soon as I heard to it, truly touching… so peaceful and compassionate." He also expressed his admiration for the practitioner couple who came to share their experiences yesterday. The whole family practices cultivation, and their family is in harmony.

Ms. Su, a teacher from Ching Hsi Elementary School said, "Before, I was very afraid when others corrected my [qigong] movements, I would feel very nervous. But here, I don’t feel nervous when my movements are corrected, because Falun Gong practitioners are very patient, making people have a feeling of compassion, with no pressure. So I feel relaxed."

A teacher from Da Hsi, very far from Taoyuan, said that he was an atheist before. There was a reason for him to come to attend this study camp. Mr. Lan, a teacher of his next-door class, has changed greatly after practicing Falun Gong. He was very surprised. "Mr. Lan practiced for a year, I noticed that his complexion and temperament changed a lot. Especially when there were some conflicts, Mr. Lan could remain calm and undisturbed. For me, this was inconceivable." He continued, "In the past week of this study camp, I have benefited a lot. I feel that I have understood much more in improving xinxing. Of course, my understanding of Falun Gong also got deeper."

The sponsor expressed a hope that schoolteachers who attended the study camp would truly take the path of cultivation after going back home. They have already made plans for next year’s camp.
