Understanding of "Fear"
Fear is an attachment manifested in selfness and selfishness. We have fear and vacillate when we are not steadfast in our faith in Teacher and Dafa. Fear itself is not our fault. It was created by the old forces in this universe for their own sake.
Actually, fear is not something so scary, because it is just a manifestation of our selfness and selfishness. Discarding the attachment is an easy task for Dafa practitioners. Our weak point is that we lack enough righteous thoughts to face our attachment to fear and we want to cover up the attachment.
Fear is the biggest hurdle we will face on our path of cultivation, and the main excuse the old forces use to persecute us. Discarding the attachment to fear is the basic requirement of the new universe, and is the difference between humans and gods. So it is a serious issue for all of us. You know, only having the intention to eliminate fear is not enough, as sometimes we do not know exactly what it is we fear. We find we are just nervous and get palpitations at that time, so we should discriminate the cause, and clear it up from its root. Only by studying the Fa well can we do this. That is the reason why Teacher asks us to study the Fa well again and again. Because the Fa can discern everything and the Fa can break all attachments.
I used to have a very serious attachment to fear and went astray. But I know that just repentance and self-rebuke for this problem was useless. To make up the loss and behave well again is to follow the right way. I believe that with the help of Teacher and the Fa, we can get through all of our fear and other attachments, because we are Dafa disciples.
Thank You, Fellow Practitioner
I have wanted to say these words for years, but only now can I understand how much you have sacrificed to help me through the individual practice, and how much time you spent untying the attachments of my heart and helping me to realize the duty of Dafa practitioners in the Fa-rectification period against all inner and external pressures.
Thank you, my fellow practitioner. It is you that have helped me to experience my responsibilities to the Fa and fellow practitioners, and helped me realize the disparity between fellow practitioners. Along with the practice enhancement, I also began to experience the pride and glory of a Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period.
I have never expressed this gratitude in front of you, because I know this is not something you want. Therefore I decided to sublimate this gratitude as a driving force for diligent cultivation towards Consummation.
Dispute
Dispute is not a rational act. If our good idea or method is not adopted, we worry much about that. But we know that a dispute is not helpful in solving the problem. On the contrary, it could be exploited by the old forces.
The Buddha Fa is boundless. Why don't we take a gentle way, a tolerant point of view, and rationally explain the question rather than argue? Isn't the coming contradiction a good test for us, which requires us to look inward and improve ourselves? We should make it clear that when Teacher gives us a hint, he will never tell us directly. Instead, he will take every opportunity, even the best thing we do, to eliminate our attachments. As I stop here, I suddenly understand that actually these things are not a big deal for practitioners, since we are very clear about the Dafa principles in our hearts. The important point is how can we cultivate more diligently and take on more responsibility.
