Texas: UTA Rally Protests the CCP's Atrocities in Sujiatun Concentration Camp (Photos)

April 02, 2006 |

(Clearwisdom.net) At noontime on March 29, the Friends of Falun Gong at the University of Texas, Arlington (UTA) and local practitioners held an activity in front of the main university library. They strongly condemned the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) atrocities in the killing of Falun Gong practitioners and harvesting their organs in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. They further called upon President George Bush and the U.S. government to pay close attention to this case and bring this case to the meeting table with Hu Jintao during Hu's state visit in April. Meanwhile, they also collected signatures calling on the U.S. to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong, which will be sent to President Bush.

UTA Professor Feng spoke out at the rally

Many UTA students learned about the atrocities and signed the practitioners' petition

During the rally, IEEE fellow and renowned UTA Electrical Engineering professor, Dr. Feng gave a speech in which he strongly protested the CCP's atrocities and called on the international community to launch an investigation immediately, stop the killing and urgently rescue practitioners persecuted in China.

Western practitioner Barbara called on President Bush to request the Chinese Communist leaders to end the atrocities at Sujiatun, which bear a similarity to the Nazi Holocaust. She also called on every person to respond to the CCP's challenge of basic human conscience. She said, "If we don't step forward now, when? If we don't step forward, who will?"

At the rally, practitioner Mr. Qin recounted his cultivation journey with Falun Gong, to testify to the beauty of the cultivation practice.

There was a continuous flow of students and faculty members during lunchtime, and many of them stopped to learn more when they saw the posters and banners about the persecution. More than 1,000 fliers about the Sujiatun Concentration Camp were distributed. Upon learning of the atrocities in the concentration camp, students and faculty members were shocked and outraged. Many signed the practitioners' petition calling on the U.S. government and President Bush to take action to stop the persecution.

An Asian student cried after she learned about the inhumane persecution. She signed the petition and called her classmates and family members and told them about the atrocities in China. Many students and faculty members also expressed their deep confusion: "Why will the Chinese Communist Party persecute good people? Why can such atrocities happen during this 21st century?"

Barbara pointed out that the persecution reflected the evil nature of the CCP and its evilness is beyond all kindhearted people's imagination.

Heaven's destruction of the CCP is quickly becoming everyone's wish.
