(Clearwisdom.net) It has been a tradition of Germany's Free Democratic Party's (FDP) Upper Bavarian Division to hold monthly seminars on foreign politics, the economy, and human rights. The seminar held in Munich on February 7, 2006, took China's human rights as its theme.
Mr. Kritzler, on behalf of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), and Mr. Thierack, from the International Human Rights Organization in Munich, were invited to speak.
FDP members are aware that Falun Gong has been persecuted for many years in China by the Chinese Communist regime. Practitioners have often been invited to talk about the Chinese Communist regime's human rights persecution. A resolution was passed on December 6, 2005, urging the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to improve on human rights. Mr. Kritzler's report further enhanced the members' understandings about Falun Gong and the persecution that the Chinese Communist regime initiated against Falun Gong.
The CCP Regime Employs State Terrorism Against Falun Gong
After a brief introduction to the WOIPFG, Mr. Kritzler talked in detail about what Falun Gong is, its origin, characteristics, reasons for its popularity in China, and why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. The principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," upheld by Falun Gong are in fundamental conflict with the "Deceit, Evilness and Violence" nature of the CCP. In 1999, as people who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" grew in numbers, Jiang Zemin became extremely jealous. Feeding on Jiang's intolerance, the CCP started the devastating persecution of tens of millions of believers in Falun Gong, by carrying out state terrorism policies such as "destroy their reputation, bankrupt them financially and annihilate them physically."
As a representative of the WOIPFG, Mr. Kritzler disclosed that so far 2,823 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death by the CCP. The extent, victim counts, intension, and length of the persecution have been unique in human history. Mr. Kritzler also outlined Falun Gong's peaceful protests globally.
Silence or Protest
Mr. Thierack gave a comprehensive overview on the CCP regime's human rights violations. Starting with a brief history of the CCP's human rights persecution, Mr. Thierack introduced China's Laogai system (for changing people's minds through forced labor), describing the thousands of labor camps and forty to fifty million victims. He also exposed the CCP's recent persecution against Chinese citizens in detail, including hundreds of millions of Falun Gong practitioners and family Christian church members. Seventy-four million farmers live in the conditions not much different from the Mao era. Two hundred million people earn less than one dollar a day. One hundred fifty million farmers became labors in cities. Mr. Thierack also emphasized the CCP's persecution of minority cultures, such as Tibetan, Uygur and Mongolian. Many globally famous companies were forced to become CCP's tools for economic reason. For example, the CCP used Google, Yahoo and Microsoft to censor information. Searched the word "Falun Gong" with Google in China, and the result is slanderous messages.
To conclude his report, Mr. Thierack raised some questions to the audience. What should the democratic countries do in facing to the CCP's tyranny - remain silent or protest, to sustain superficial dialogs with China or to adopt embargos like those implemented after the Tiananmen Square Massacre, or trade business with human rights?
A movie, The "Mercy" of the Communist Party, by Mr. Henry Wu, was also on aired at the seminar. The film showed China's Laogai system (the system to re-education people through forced labor), executions of death row inmates and their internal organs being sold after the executions.
The CCP Takes Path to its Demise
The audience was stunned by the graphic display of the CCP's tyranny. Many questions were raised, such as: Have the Chinese been so brutal historically or is it just the CCP? The answer was that the Chinese have always believed in Gods, in Confucianism, Buddhism, or Taoism. The atheism of the CCP discredited Buddhas, Taos and Gods for the Chinese people, and made them feel indifferent to CCP tyranny. Of course there was no shortage of tyrants in Chinese history. But tyranny often denoted the end of a dynasty. The answer was greeted with laughter and applause by the participants.
