(Clearwisdom.net) On November 4, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Switzerland and Germany held a parade in the Swiss capital city of Bern to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners and supporting the 15 million Chinese people who have publicly quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. At the end of the parade, the practitioners held a press conference at Waisenhausplatz Square. Many passersby were attracted by this unique parade procession, the demonstration of the beautiful Falun Gong exercises, and the powerful press conference. Many passersby accepted practitioners’ truth-clarification hand-outs. After hearing a speech exposing the CCP atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, many of them immediately signed a petition demanding an end to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

The Parade

The calling out of "Schnell, Schnell, Schnell, aus der KPC (Quickly, quickly, quickly, quit the CCP)" could be heard from afar. Many people shopping in the center of Bern stopped to watch the unique parade. They first saw a giant banner which read in German: "Fifteen Million Chinese People Have Quit the Chinese Communist Party." This was followed by a waist drum troupe wearing traditional Chinese yellow suits. Accompanied by the beautiful song "Falun Dafa is Good," four ladies performed a Chinese dance. Behind them was a banner in German and French, reading, "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong." Also printed on the banner was a peaceful scene of four practitioners meditating and photos of Chinese police brutally beating practitioners on Tiananmen Square.

The parade was followed by a re-enactment of the CCP atrocity of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners in China. Two "policemen" were escorting practitioners who were in chains and had obviously been tortured. They were accompanied by a "doctor," wearing a blood-stained outfit and holding an surgical scalpel. The banner behind them explained to the public that the scene represented what is happening in China, "Chinese Communist Regime Harvests Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners for Profit." People were very shocked by the scene and wanted to know more about Falun Gong, the tide of withdrawals from the CCP, and the organ harvesting atrocities. Many truth-clarifying materials were distributed along the parade route.

A lady brought her children to watch their grandmother perform in the waist drum formation. She felt that the parade was very refreshing and pure. She knows that Falun Gong is very good ever since her mother started to practice. After watching this parade, she said she would ask her mother for the book of Falun Gong’s main teaching, Zhuan Falun, so that she can better understand Falun Gong.

The Press Conference

The parade ended in Waisenhausplatz Square, where a press conference had been set up. Posters exposing the bloody persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP and the regime’s atrocities, which are documented in the book "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," were displayed along three sides of the square. After the parade procession arrived, a simple "operating table" was erected in the center of the square. The "doctor" in the parade started to perform an "operation" of organ harvesting. Beside the table was a small cage, in which a practitioner was sitting, simulating a cruel torture method frequently employed by the CCP during the persecution of Falun Gong. The banner behind the scene read, "What You See Is What Is Happening in China.

"The Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit," practitioner Andere explained to the spectators through a microphone. He said, "Falun Gong is an ancient Chinese cultivation method that teaches people to improve their moral character by following the principles of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. But the Chinese Communist regime does not allow people to have their own beliefs. The regime began the bloody persecution against Falun Gong practitioners on July 20, 1999."

After Andere spoke, Urusla described how two witnesses from mainland China, Peter and Anne, revealed the CCP atrocities of organ harvesting and how the Canadian independent investigation group then confirmed their allegations. She said, "When David Kilgour, coauthor of the Canadian investigation report, brought up their findings regarding the atrocities to the UN, the CCP could not find anything to defend itself besides making a scene to distract attention. At the end of her speech, Ursula appealed to the media and the public to take concrete actions to stop the most vicious crime in the history of mankind.

People were a bit surprised to see the "doctor" that was enacting the organ harvesting speak. He said, "My name is Wang Xiaoyang. I graduated with a Masters degree from the University of St. Gallen last April. But my mother could not attend my graduation ceremony. Just because she is a Falun Gong practitioner, she is being illegally detained in a prison by the Chinese Communist regime."

Xiaoyang continued, "My mother was arrested by the Communist regime and my family has not heard any news about her in the past two years. Because of this, my maternal grandmother passed away and no one is looking after my dad, who is very frail and has many diseases. For years I have worried that my mother was being subjected to torture. After the organ harvesting atrocities were exposed, I became even more worried about her safety."

Xiaoyang stressed, "Today, I am acting the part of a Chinese doctor performing an organ removal operation in order to call for public attention to this severe issue. I hope that my mother has not and will not meet a doctor of this kind. I hope that she is still alive. In fact, these doctors who are being forced to kill people instead of saving people’s lives are also victims of the persecution. Today, the purpose of our activity is to speak out on behalf of the Chinese people whose voices cannot be heard, and to let the world know their suffering. A signature, a letter to the media or elected representatives, or a talk with friends about this persecution will help a lot. All together we will eventually end the persecution

After listening to Xiaoyang’s story and seeing the posters of Falun Gong practitioners suffering from torture, some people cried. Many people signed the petition to show their support for Falun Gong.

I Will Let More People Know about the Truth of the Persecution

A young lady told a Minghui reporter that she had carefully viewed the posters. She said, "This is so much alike what Hitler did. This is really terrible. I hope we can stop this. We are all human." Daniel, a Falun Gong practitioner from Zurich, said, "It is very important to tell people the true situation and let the whole world know. Participating in the parade can help people know about the persecution. I am also happy to see fellow practitioners and make my contribution to end the persecution. This is a good thing." Mrs. Zhang from Bern is in her 60s. She and other practitioners played waist drums for nearly one hour in the parade. She told the reporter, "I am not tired. My spirit is very high. My throat has been a bit sore recently. But when calling out "Schnell, Schnell, Schnell, aus der KPC (Quickly, quickly, quickly, quit the CCP)", my voice was fine." Mr. Zhang, who came along with friends from Germany to join the activity, talked about why he came such a long way to participate in the parade. "This is my obligation. Falun Gong originated in China and yet it is now banned in China. At the end of the press conference, the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercise. Andere explained features of each of the exercises to spectators and provided local practice site information. He once again invited the spectators to pay attention to the organ harvesting atrocities and the persecution of Falun Gong.
