(Clearwisdom.net) Although I am a new Falun Gong practitioner, Teacher is protecting me just as he does every practitioner.

Some time ago, a fellow practitioner was besieged by a group of policemen. Practitioner A suggested that we send righteous thoughts to support the practitioner. I suggested that we call other practitioners and ask them to join us in sending righteous thoughts. I also suggested that we ask a fellow practitioner to reveal the persecution on minghui.ca (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net). Practitioner A cautioned that such exposure of the persecution on the Internet might cause the police to increase the numbers already present. Besides, A thought it was sufficient to notify all local practitioners. I didn't agree with him, but didn't insist on my ideas, as I am a new practitioner. We visited the practitioner and the three of us were arrested upon leaving his home.

We refused to cooperate with the police. I felt waves of heat emanating from my abdomen, but my legs kept trembling. A fellow practitioner appeared to worry about me. Then she told the police loudly, "We don't know anything!" I knew that she meant these words for me because she feared that I might betray fellow practitioners. Even in the midst of danger, she thought of others' safety first. Actually, her concern was unnecessary, because I was very calm at heart, despite my appearance.

Once in the police station, she repeatedly told the police loudly about the beauty of Falun Gong, while I repeatedly revealed the crimes and evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). She told the police the truth about Falun Gong and explained to them the truth behind the CCP's staged self-immolation act at Tiananmen Square. She told them that this action was devised to instigate people's hatred against Falun Gong. The police refused to acknowledge the truth, so I reminded them that this is not the first time that the CCP framed people to justify its crimes.

I continued sending righteous thoughts throughout the time at the police station. No matter what the police said to me, I answered, "Is anything wrong with trying to become a better person? Is there anything wrong with trying to become a kinder person? Is there anything wrong with promoting kindness?" The police claimed that Falun Gong forbade its practitioners to eat. I answered, "Bring every Falun Gong book and point out where it claims what you just said." Then he changed the subject and claimed Falun Gong promotes superstition. I asked him, "Is the United States advanced in science?" He said yes. I said, "In every U.S. currency, it says, 'In God we trust.'" He argued that it is just American culture. I asked him, "If it is only culture, do you think a culture that promotes kindness is better or a culture that encourages fighting is better?"

After an hour, the police lost their patience. They shouted, "Handcuff them and throw them in prison!" I thought they were pitiful! Teacher is right. The evil is only bluffing. They are overcome with fear in their hearts! They searched the entire room but failed to find any handcuffs. A policeman asked, "I will save my breath and ask you whether you will continue to practice Falun Gong or not. You are going to practice Falun Gong anyway." Apparently Teacher and Fa-guardian gods could see our hearts. So did the evil. This must be the reason why the policemen didn't ask if we would continue to practice Falun Gong. In fact, they have no right to ask us this question.

Several hours later, they released me. I realized after leaving the police station that I had cooperated with the evil policemen, as I had told them my name and my address. I also signed the interrogation record. I barely passed the test. It was Teacher that helped me overcome the tribulation. It was because my thoughts were not righteous and my dimension was not pure that the evil exploited my loopholes.

Aren't those committing evil afraid that their crimes will be exposed? After I left the police station, I called a taxi and told the taxi driver about my several hour long detention at the police station. I told him the truth about the CCP's staged self-immolation act at Tiananmen Square, about Falun Gong teaching its practitioners to become better people, that the CCP would soon be annihilated by Heaven and about the law of cause and effect. The result was wonderful. By the time I got in the seventh taxi, I saw a radiant golden Falun. It was extraordinarily bright in the darkness.

At dawn, a fellow practitioner suggested that I should stay away from home for a while. My human thoughts held sway over me and I began to worry. I walked the streets for several hours, but didn't want to visit any fellow practitioner's home, as I did not want to involve anyone else. Meanwhile, all kinds of human thoughts raced through my mind, "The police now know my address. It would be difficult if they harassed me from time to time. Where should I go? If I leave my home, I won't be able to study the Fa and practice the Falun Gong exercises daily." Eventually my human thoughts got the best of me. I bought a train ticket and prepared to leave town. While waiting for the train, I remembered to call my family. "I will be out of town for two weeks." My family was worried and told me, "But you have the only key to the house!" I decided to leave in the afternoon after bringing the key home. I returned the ticket and got on the bus home. On the bus I listened to Teacher's Fa lecture on an MP3 player. In the audio lecture Teacher said,

Suddenly I realized that I should stay because no one can possibly harm me!

After returning home, I looked at Teacher's picture. Teacher still looked so peaceful, kind and compassionate. Teacher watches over and protects each and every Falun Gong practitioner around the clock. Teacher has eliminated numerous dangers for us.

Ten years ago someone told me about the existence of Buddhas, Taos and gods. I replied, "The evil Chinese Communist Party is killing people for power and profits. It has committed numerous crimes in the name of the revolution, but it was praised for its crimes. How can there possibly be any Buddha, Tao or god in the universe?" My hatred towards the CCP sealed my mind and prevented me from believing in anything. It was not until I started practicing Falun Gong that I realized that the old forces and the CCP came into existence as a result of the degeneration of the entire universe. This is why Teacher decided to rectify the Fa. I am among those fortunate enough to assist Teacher's Fa-rectification. I must cherish this opportunity and not waste my life.
