(Clearwisdom.net) In France, around July each year, there is always a big summer sale with massive retail price reductions. In Paris, the busiest street at this time of year would be Boulevard Haussmann, a long business corridor that is formed by numerous shops and marketplaces. At the same time, Paris practitioners' truth-clarification tour was scheduled to visit this district. On the 2nd of July, practitioners gathered at this street, displaying banners and posters to let people know about the ongoing brutal persecution against innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China.

With many truth-clarifying projects ongoing in Paris, French practitioners often find themselves too busy to take a rest. Even so, practitioners have overcome all kinds of difficulties and interference to continue to clarify the truth of the CCP's brutal persecution against practitioners to the public.

People now are coming to practitioners to request the leaflets! Upon seeing a picture of the Falun Gong sitting meditation in the leaflet, one person was very excited and said: "This is meditation, I am very interested!" At times, when the practitioners were too busy to answer all the requests right away, people would quietly wait for their turn to get a leaflet and sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution against Falun Gong.

A girl from New York was in Paris on vacation. As soon as she saw Falun Gong, she signed the petition. She told practitioners that many people in New York knew the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China.

There was also a French person who lived in Beijing for a year. He had been influenced by the lies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and had some misunderstandings about Falun Gong. Practitioners talked with him in depth about how Falun Gong spread all over the world before the persecution began in 1999 and is now practiced by 100 million people in over 70 countries. Practitioners also told him the truth of the "April 25" appeal in 1999. Having heard so much truth and witnessed practitioners' peaceful demeanor, he realized that he had been deceived by CCP's lies. As he left, he said that he was so happy to have learned all these truth. He also said: "Keep up all the good work you are doing."

The Paris Truth-Clarification Tour was initiated in April 2005 to visit all districts of Paris. This project effectively reached a lot people who otherwise may not have the opportunity to hear the truth of Falun Dafa. To date, practitioners have held events in nearly 10 districts, about half of the 20 districts in Paris. The project will continue to let more French people know about the truth about Falun Dafa.
