(Clearwisdom.net) I noticed that many practitioners have recently experienced severe interference, manifesting as many conflicts among fellow practitioners. Practitioners have gotten angry at each other, lost their tempers, and blamed each other. This has caused unnecessary misunderstandings and estrangements among practitioners, and it has negatively impacted our efforts to validate Dafa. As a result, the evil found opportunities to persecute Dafa practitioners individually, and has caused a great loss of opportunity for us to improve as a whole body and validate Dafa.
Studying the Fa, cultivating xinxing and looking inward are the basic requirements for Dafa practitioners. A practitioner should improve and guard his character at all times; "you shouldn't hit back when attacked, or talk back when insulted" is the first thing every practitioner should achieve. A person who does not cultivate his xinxing is not a Dafa practitioner.
When clarifying the truth about Dafa to people, we are benevolent to them and try to save them. If we could be benevolent to others, why can't we also be benevolent to each other among our fellow practitioners when encountering conflicts? Why can't we guard our xinxing? Some even unnecessarily separate practitioners into groups.
My personal understanding is that many of us have for a long time been ignoring the most basic but most strict requirement of Dafa for personal cultivation, which is what Master taught us in Zhuan Falun about improving our xinxing. We have made light of and deviated from the Fa of "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance."
Some practitioners are not honest, some do not follow agreements, some do not keep promises, some do not cultivate their speech, some are not kind, some are not tolerant, etc. All these behaviors that do not conform to the Fa's standard have to be eliminated in our cultivation. We can only assimilate to Dafa and achieve the Fa's requirement after we eliminate everything that is a deviation from the Fa.
Then what is the correct way for a Dafa practitioner to deal with others when we see behavior that is not in accordance with the Fa?
Benevolence is the basic characteristic of a Dafa practitioner. We can resolve all conflicts with Dafa's guidance. Other practitioners' issues are also our issues. We must keep a very clear mind that we will guard our xinxing and look inward regardless of what kind of trouble or conflict we encounter.
The existence of conflicts indicates that we have deviated from the Fa to a certain degrees. We must eliminate everything that deviates from the Fa through cultivation and improve ourselves. Master is providing us an opportunity to improve when he exposes our issues and conflicts. When we see the shortcomings and attachments of others, we should kindly point them out to each other and improve together. This is how we can treasure our relationships and help each other to improve. This will turn those conflicts into great opportunities.
On the other hand, all Dafa practitioners should make Dafa their top priority. When facing conflicts, we should recognize that they are interference. The evil wants to keep Dafa practitioners from improving as a whole body and validating Dafa. If we do not handle it well, it will bring negative impact to Dafa and fellow practitioners. We should validate the Fa, not ourselves. The conflicts indicate another huge attachment that we need to eliminate, that is validating ourselves rather than Dafa.
When we are validating ourselves, the first thing we think of when facing conflicts is that it is not my fault, that others are wrong. At times, though we recognize we also might be wrong, deep in our hearts, we look externally to find bigger mistakes by others. This is a terrible attachment of selfishness, ignorance and jealousy.
When we are validating the Fa rather than ourselves, we will be concerned with how to improve ourselves and how to help others improve. We will look deeply inward to find our own shortcomings and problems. We will first look at ourselves rather than others. If it was our own problem, we should thank fellow practitioners for their help and reminder, and quickly improve. If it was truly not our own but the other side's problems, we should sincerely open our heart to communicate with the others, so that we can improve together in Dafa. Isn't this the best outcome for conflict?
If we truly put Dafa as the top priority and let go of our selfishness when facing conflicts, we will first think about the impact to Dafa and fellow practitioners; whether it will damage Dafa, other practitioners and our efforts of validating Dafa. We should first question how we can improve quickly, how we can avoid the potential loss this may bring, and how to deal with it well according to the Fa. When we think this way, all the personal attachments will be easy to let go of. When we put ourselves in Dafa, we will have a broader vision than personal fame or benefits. We practitioners are all lives made by Dafa; we are a family, and we should treasure each other.
Some conflicts may not be easy to resolve in one instance. We should keep working on it until it is resolved. All Master wants is that our hearts are firm with faith in Dafa. With the help from Master and the Fa, there is no conflict that cannot be resolved.
Let us all look inward and maintain our xinxing at the standards that should be reached by Dafa practitioners. Let us eliminate our selfishness and the misunderstandings among practitioners, assimilate to Dafa and work hard together to validate Dafa.
Let us all put our hearts into Dafa and eliminate the interference from the evil.
