It is my deep understanding that we can walk each step of cultivation well as long as we believe in Master and the Fa at all times; we can frighten and terrify the evil as long as we maintain righteous thoughts and righteous actions at all times. The following is my experience: I was abducted and sentenced to three years of forced labor, but the labor camp refused to accept me and I went back home the next day.

At about 7 a.m. on December 22, 2003 (Chinese Lunar Calendar), four policemen from the local police station came to my home. At that time, I was sitting in meditation. When I heard them knock on the door, I suspected that they were the police from the local police station. I continued to sit there and started sending forth righteous thoughts, and I did not answer the door.

Later on, the police opened the window and broke into my home. They said, "You must come with us to do a physical check-up." I knew their intention was bad, so I told them, "No." I recited Master's words in my heart,

"No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates" ("Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful" in Essentials for Further Advancement II)

I continued sitting cross-legged and sent forth righteous thoughts. The police asked me to cooperate, but I said firmly, "I definitely will not go." The deputy head of the police station ordered the police to carry me out. Four policemen forcibly moved me down from my bed while two policemen held my arms and the other two carried my legs. It took a great effort on their part to carry me to the police vehicle. After going through a lot of trouble, they forcefully packed me into the vehicle.

When the vehicle pulled away, I started to clarify the truth to the police, but they did not listen. I just erected my palm in front of my chest and sent forth righteous thoughts. After the vehicle arrived at the Luotaishan Labor Camp, I saw that there were seven or eight guards and several prisoners in the yard. I shouted: "Falun Dafa is good. It is a crime to persecute Falun Gong." I continually shouted this when I was in the yard.

There were several police officers in the labor camp office. One of the shorter police officers came over, hit my head three times and then yanked my ear twice. He then said, "You dared to shout 'Falun Dafa is good' here. After I send you into the prison room, I will exert all my strength to subdue you." At that time, the deputy head of the police station took a piece of paper out from his briefcase and put it on the table. I looked at it and saw that my name was listed and I was sentenced to three years of forced labor. A policeman said: "A physical check-up is required for staying in the camp. If he suffers from a contagious disease, we cannot accept him."

When I was leaving the camp on my way to the City Hospital for a physical check-up, I saw that prisoners had formed three lines in front of the camp gate and there were several prisoners inside the camp. I shouted again, "Falun Dafa is good. Persecuting Falun Gong is a crime." The lawless personnel forcibly brought me to the City Hospital for a physical check-up and a chest X-ray. I still did not cooperate, and sternly told them that I would not have a check-up. Four policemen pushed and dragged me onto the radiography bench. I exerted all my effort to drag the probe down, but the police forcibly pushed it up.

The doctor said, "Do not break the equipment." The police saw that they could not reach their aim of having me examined. Next, they took me to do the check-up in the consulting room. But after that, they forcibly brought me to the radiography room again. At this time, two of them held my arms and the other two held my legs. Although I exerted all my strength to struggle free, they still did the radiography. The doctor diagnosed me as suffering from advanced stage tuberculosis. It was probably the doctor who could not bear the sight of the police's behavior and then did me a favor by giving the misleading diagnosis. When the camp authorities heard that I had "contagious tuberculosis" they refused to accept me.

The police took me back to the local police station. By that time it was already 5 o'clock in the evening. The head of the police station called the Party Secretary of our village and asked my family to pay 1,000 yuan, threatening my family that I would be sent to the detention center if they did not pay. On the next morning, my wife came to the police station and said she did not bring a cent, but several articles of clothing for me. The head of the police station had no choice but to let me go home.
