I said, "When Jesus was crucified, those people who watched nearby did not dare to say 'Stop persecuting him!' People who fill up the churches should ask themselves: 'If Jesus were tortured today, before my eyes, could I step forward and call for help, or would I leave immediately, fearing persecution? Would I think that the matter had nothing to do with me, and just go my own way?' It is of great importance that people should have stopped the crime when Jesus was tortured and suffering. Today, many people say words of justice and condemn the crimes of the killers in China. In time of crisis one can see people's true heart."
My husband was silenced by my words. He always thought that helping to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners had nothing to do with him. Though he did get a little involved here and there, most of the time, "This has nothing to do with me" was foremost in his mind. When I said the above words, he knew I was also talking about him.
Many people have not made an effort in calling for an end of the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong. When the persecution ends, when the efforts of people who helped to stop the persecution succeed, those people who did not help in a time of crisis will feel ashamed. It will be too late when the situation has turned around--because the true nature of everyone reveals itself in this test of conscience and soul.
The gods test people's heart at all times. They give all human beings many opportunities to reveal their true nature. These opportunities may come unbidden and hidden and they may slip away quickly.
