1. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Fenghua from Guanghua Town Critically Ill Due to Persecution

On December 4, 2004, Party Secretary General of Guanghua Town Diao Xisen arrested four Dafa practitioners including Ms. Zhang Fenghua and Mr. Li Tiancai, and sent them to the Town Police Substation. Police searched the four practitioners' houses. The police beat sixty-four year old Ms. Zhang Fenghua. Her legs swelled up and she had difficulty walking. The next day the police jailed these practitioners in Kuaida Town Police Substation, Tonghua County. Ms. Zhang Fenghua was tortured so badly that she developed a heart problem and blood pressure of 230. She is critically ill.

2. [Shandong Province] Police Torture 18-year-old Guo Xuelian to Mental Collapse for Appealing for Falun Dafa

In January 2001, Police jailed Ms. Guo Xuelian, a young practitioner from Shandong Province, at Xin'an Female Labor Camp at Tiantanghe after she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. The girl reasoned with Deputy Director Li Jing, which made him angry. Li Jing had Ms. Guo Xuelian sent to the group training team. Ms. Guo was beaten and cursed at all night.

The next morning, two male police officers shocked her with electric batons. Ms. Guo was tortured every day. A police officer named Gao almost tortured her to death. The shocks left her body covered with burns and bruises. They forced her to remain awake for long periods of time. In March and April Ms. Guo Xuelian suffered a mental collapse. Afterwards, the police took her back to her hometown.

3. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zai Yongyi Detained in Weifang Brainwashing Center in Shandong Province

On the night of December 11, 2004, Ms Zai Yongyi from Weifang City, Shandong Province went to visit fellow practitioners in jail. Because she admitted that she practiced Falun Dafa, the staff of the brainwashing class detained her.

4. [Heilongjiang Province] Six Employees of Haolianghe Chemical Fertilizer Factory Arrested

On December 3, 2004, the Nancha District Criminal Police Team arrested

six practitioners including Mr. Zhang Xianlong and Ms. Li Guihua from the Haolianghe Chemical Fertilizer Factory.

5. [Taihe County, Jiangxi Province] Two Practitioners on the Brink of Death After Police Torture

Police arrested Ms. Gong Yuxiu on December 4, 2004 and sent her to the Taihe County Police Substation in Jiangxi Province. She and another practitioner have been tortured to the brink of death. Lin Zhiyong from Section 1 of the Taihe County Police Substation, Jiangxi Province hired unemployed youth of the neighborhood to tail practitioners.

6. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Tonghua City Police Arrest Eight Practitioners

Since December, in Tonghua City, Jilin Province, eight Dafa practitioners (Mr. Feng Bo, Ms. Zhang Fengqin, Mr. Zhao Jinlong, a person with the surname Meng, Mr. Wang Jingjie, Ms. Ding Chunxia, Ms. Wang Guihua and one other man) were taken from their homes or workplaces without just cause. Police sent them to Changliu Labor Camp.

7. [Qidong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Jiang Meiying Arrested for Hanging Truth-Clarifying Posters

Plainclothes police recently followed, arrested and jailed Ms. Jiang Meiying of Qidong County while she was hanging up truth-clarifying posters.

8. [Guangdong Province] Li Meiping and Other Practitioners Arrested

Police arrested Zhong Xiling and Ms. Li Meiping from Meizhou, Guangdong Province on November 14, 2004 while they clarified the truth at Dapu. They are now in Dapuyuan Labor Camp. At 2:00 a.m. on November 15, the Meijiang District Public Security Bureau from Meizhou City searched Zhong's home. The police took about two thousand yuan from her home.

Police arrested Ms. Jia Yuping of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province and searched her home. The Lianzhou police arrested Ms. Guan Aizhen of Lianzhou, Guangdong Province on December 7, 2004.

9. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Pinghua, Retired Employee of the Construction Bank, Arrested by Yueyang City Police

Members of the National Security Bureau of Yuyang City arrested Ms. Wang Pinghua, a retiree from Yueyang City Construction Bank, at home at 5:30 p.m. on December 8, 2004.

10. [Chengde City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Cuiqing Forced to Leave Home to Avoid Further Persecution by the Kuancheng County 610 Office of Chengde City

The Kuancheng County 610 Office of Chengde City, Hebei Province and the Kuancheng County Vocational Education Center persecuted Ms. Wang Cuiqing, a teacher from Kuancheng County Vocational Education Center, insisting that she write the so-called "Guarantee Statement". Because Ms. Wang Cuiqing refused, they planned to send her to the Chengde Brainwashing Class. Wang Cuiqing left home to avoid brainwashing and became homeless.

11. [Hebei Province] Police Arrest Wang Guoqian and His Father

On November 15, 2004, officers from Shuangbei Police Substation in Shuangbei Village arrested Mr. Wang Guoqian and his father Mr. Wang Guifa. Police sent the two men to Longrao County Labor Camp in Hebei Province.

12. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhou Jingchun and Other Practitioners Arrested

On October 1, Yongyang Town Police Substation of Laishui County, with Laishui County Public Security Bureau, arrested Mr. Zhou Jingchun and Ms. Cheng Haihua from Yunshan. Mr. Zhou Jingchun is currently detained at the Balizhuang Labor Camp in Baoding City. Ms. Cheng Haihua has been released.

On November 5, Dai Chunjie, Section Chief of the Laishui County Public Security Bureau and Xu Jianzhong from Yongyang Police Substation arrested Ms. Cheng Cuiying at her home. Ms. Cheng Cuiying left the police station with righteous thoughts.

13. [Chongqing City] Ms. Sun Suyun from Shimahe, Jiangbei District, Arrested

Ms. Sun Suyun is 67 years old. Between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on December 6, 2004, twelve people from the Jiangbei District Public Security Bureau arrested her. They searched her home. Ms. Sun Suyun is currently detained at the Jiangbei District Labor Camp.

Sun Suyun is the third female practitioner arrested since July 2004 in the Shipan Area, Jiangbei District. Ms. Li Zhenghua and Ms. Li Yinying, both over 50 years old, are the other two.

14. [Heilongjiang Province] Over 10 Practitioners Arrested in Daqing City

Policemen from the Surveillance Office of the Heilongjiang Province Public Security Department in Daqing City used false pretexts to search computers and materials in practitioners' homes in order to arrest the practitioners. They arrested eleven men and women: Ms. Wang Xiuling, Ms. Zhang Yanping, Mr. Meng Fanrong, Ms. Lin Suying, Xu Bin, Hou Qingguo, Ms. Wang Guiyan, Ms. Li Bingying, and Ms. Zhang Guiyun. The names of the other two practitioners arrested with Zhang Guiyun are still unknown.

On the afternoon of December 3, 2004, Mr. Meng Fanrong and Ms. Lin Suying from Wangjiaweizi, Sha District, Daqing City were arrested by police from Huoju Police Substation when they were clarifying the truth and were reported by someone. They are currently detained at the Daqing City Labor Camp.

15. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Wenge and Mr. Zheng Kun Arrested

Mr. Sun Wenge and Mr. Zheng Kun from Chaoyangpu, Huanzidong Village, Dajiagou Town, Dehui City, Jilin Province were arrested at home on April 12, 2004 by the local police substation. They are currently detained at the Dehui City Detention Center.

16. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Liang Shiqiong Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials

Liang Shiqiong was reported to the police while giving people truth-clarifying materials and was arrested on December 8th or 9th. He is now being held at the Gaoyao Labor Camp.

17. [Anda City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Suxin Arrested

Five people from the Surveillance Office of the Heilongjiang Province Public Security Department arrested Ms. Wang Suxin of Anda City. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Five strangers arrested Wang Suxin at her workplace. They came to the Wangda Commercial Store in Anda City. They asked the announcer to call for Wang Suxin, claiming they wanted to ask her about a friend with whom they had lost contact. They tricked Wang Suxin into coming to the store office. Once they confirmed her identity, they handcuffed and body-searched her. They found a cell phone and the book Zhuan Falun. They took her to the local police substation. Then the five people and Liu Yingshan drove a minivan to Wang Suxin's home to conduct an illegal search. Her 18-year-old son Zhang Jian was at home. They took a computer that Zhang Jian used for digital photography. On the same night, Liu Yingshan used her keys to open Wang Suxin's door and search her home again. He tried to deceive her son into telling him with whom Wang Suxin had been in contact.

18. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Jin Li and Li Zhirong Arrested

On December 4, 2004, police arrested 47- year-old Ms. Jin Li of Xi'an while she was giving people truth-clarifying materials. On December 6, 2004, police arrested Ms. Li Zhirong from Xi'an (about 60 years old) after a fellow practitioner from out of town shouted "Falun Dafa is good."

19. [Jianli County, Heilongjiang Province] An Employee from Dashichang Sent to a Labor Camp

On the afternoon on November 30, 2004, police from Jianli County, Heilongjiang Province and the Dashichang Police Substation, and related departments from the commercial bureau tricked an employee name Li Dayao to go to his workplace, where they arrested him and took him to the county labor camp. They did this because the words "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" were seen in his roof tiles.

The next day, Cao Shengwen, Zhu Binhua and a Mr. Luo from Dashichang Police Substation, used the key they confiscated from Li Dayao get into his home and search it.
