(Clearwisdom.net) In our area, a situation has occurred among practitioners. After reading the article "What Two Little Disciples See in Other Dimensions: The Battle between Righteousness and Evil to Begin in New York City," some practitioners thought we should donate money to overseas practitioners so as to support their truth-clarification activities in New York City. As a matter of fact, some have already begun to raise funds among practitioners. In my opinion, Beijing is also a battleground. Practitioners in China should focus their attention on Beijing. Also I'd like to revisit two editorials by Clearwisdom.net with regard to the issue of collecting money among practitioners.

Put an End to All of the Damaging Acts of Collecting Money From Dafa Disciples

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently in Mainland China's Jiamusi City and other areas, some Dafa disciples received a notice for collecting money from Dafa disciples. The people who spread this would direct people to deposit money in some specific account, which would be mailed to the United States to Master, and so on. Already there have been a few practitioners who haven't studied the Fa well that were tricked by this. So it is hereby declared: This is an act that seriously damages Dafa; Master never has and never will ask for a penny from Dafa disciples; any such act to collect money from Dafa disciples is strictly forbidden by Dafa; whoever starts or assists in collecting money in the name of Dafa disciples or Dafa Associations, etc, is doing things that damage Dafa and interfere with Dafa disciples on behalf of demons.

Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period, especially the great numbers of Dafa disciples in Mainland China, are doing everything they can to put every penny into clarifying the truth and offering salvation to people of the world. While opposing the persecution, many practitioners are facing huge difficulties in basic necessities, yet they are still saving everything they can and doing as much as possible to offer salvation to people of the world. How each practitioner handles his own money is each person's individual choice, and when a few practitioners who know each other well want to do things together as individuals -- this is also those individual practitioners' individual choices. But it is absolutely not allowed to collect money from Dafa disciples at any time and in any place.

In addition, Dafa requires that cultivators as a group be loosely organized, no names are registered and there are no name lists. Each Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple should also strictly handle themselves well; don't be used by demons and solemnly put an end to the losses that might be brought upon themselves, to other practitioners, and to Fa-rectification because of this.

Dafa's principles are Diamond-Like -- unchangeable and indestructible. Every Dafa disciple should follow and safeguard them of their own initiative.

The hope is that every Dafa disciple will persist in studying the Fa, studying the Fa well, and on the basis of sticking to and safeguarding Dafa of their own initiative, do well in the things that Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples should do.

Cherish Our Opportunity and Walk Our Paths Righteously

Presently as the Fa-rectification approaches success day by day, how each person walks his remaining path is directly linked to his future. Master solemnly pointed out to us in 2001 in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference":

"...any desire you have can become an attachment and can be used by the evil. As soon as that kind of thought emerges, the evil might conjure a false image for you, and this will then cause interference. Cherish the present time and make the best use of it--this time is meant for the disciples."

In this year's lecture at the Vancouver Experience Sharing Conference, Master again benevolently reminded us:

"So before the Fa-rectification is over you should seize the time that's left and solidly do well in every single thing that a Dafa disciple should do. That's how you should proceed on this path toward the future and toward what's the most magnificent; you can't miss any single opportunity, or go awry with any step."

For the sake of Fa-rectification and saving all sentient beings, Master has endured countless hardships and so much suffering. All along, Master has been creating opportunities for us to be rescued and saved, as well as other sentient beings, including those practitioners who have still not understood what the mission of Fa-rectification Dafa disciples is, and those practitioners who had fallen during the persecution because of their own attachments. However, instead of cherishing this unprecedented chance that will never come again, some people are even doing bad things that are tarnishing Master and Dafa's reputation in this world and damaging the chance for the world's people to be saved.

According to recent news from Mainland China, a very few people are still collecting funds among practitioners, and some practitioners who have not studied the Fa deeply and have not let go of their attachments are responding to these people. This is severely interfering with practitioners' cultivation and daily lives, going against Dafa disciples' efforts to validate Dafa, and in some cases directly impacting people's understanding of Dafa.

Those who are collecting funds come forward appearing as practitioners, yet their words and actions are totally against Dafa--they actually have the gall to use Master's modest lifestyle as an excuse to do things to frame and harm Master. As for those who are giving funds, have they not thought at all about why Master asks us to "take the Fa as the Teacher?" In the eleven years since the public introduction of Dafa, Master has never taken a single penny from practitioners. Aren't Dafa's principles immovable like diamond? Those practitioners who are responding to the people who are stealing Master's name to collect money are having their loopholes taken advantage of by the evil while they're not clearheaded. They are directly creating obstacles for Master's rectifying the Fa and saving people, and have done things that many wicked people couldn't do--their sins are grave indeed.

We have reported the matter of using Master's name to collect funds. Master has paid a great deal of attention to this matter, but still wants to save the practitioners, so instead of talking about it directly, Master has asked those of us who are still cultivating to talk about it, leaving a chance for those practitioners to change their ways and make up for their mistakes. It is hoped that those involved will immediately stop short of the precipice that they're on the edge of, calm their hearts to study the Fa well, and make up for their mistakes through concrete actions of clarifying the truth.

There is another situation that also concerns whether we can walk our paths righteously, and it is something that requires everyone to regard with righteous thoughts. Some people, driven by attachments to individual fame or gain and to accomplishing things like everyday people, under the name of truth-clarification material production sites, have tried to ask those practitioners who have not left home to avoid the persecution to contribute money for collective use (this does not include self-formed, voluntary cooperation among individual practitioners). Even though this is a very rare occurrence, these actions have seriously violated the Dafa principle of "we can't collect money from students". ("Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference") This has tarnished Dafa's reputation, and these are absolutely not appropriate acts for genuinely cultivating disciples of Dafa. In reality, those practitioners who are overcoming day-to-day difficulties to give money to the people collecting it should think about it more rationally: Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples depend on devoting their hearts and walking their paths righteously to save people of the world, and not going astray on matters of principle is of utmost importance for validating Dafa.

There is another point that we all need to never forget: regardless of whatever excuse, whatever reason, whatever the situation might be, if someone claims Master said something that Master did not say, "this person is undermining the Fa, regardless of whether his motives are good or not." ("Immutable") Dafa disciples absolutely cannot act recklessly and irresponsibly.

We are all beings that are living in the old cosmos. The chance to cultivate during Fa-rectification is unprecedented and something that will not happen again in the future. All of us Dafa disciples who have been fortunate enough to attain the Fa in this extremely special historical period of Master's Fa-rectification must cherish it. We should use our greatest benevolent, righteous thoughts to walk our own paths righteously, not let down Master's merciful, arduous salvation, and not let down the sentient beings' long wait over the course of history.
