Both Gao Shumei, a Falun Dafa practitioner who lives at Shipaidi Village in Nankoqian Township, and He Niaigui, a 65-year-old practitioner who lives at Hongtoshan Township, were forcibly arrested from their home by local police and government officials on July 26, 2004. They were then directly sent to Luotai Hills Brainwashing Center in Fushun City. When they were arrested, they both shouted out loud, "Falun Dafa is good," and clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to bystanders.

On July 20, 2004 Mr. Tian Dongling was arrested while distributing materials about Falun Gong. Currently, he is detained at the Second Detention Center in Yingchen City. Below are contact numbers of people responsible for his illegal arrest and detainment:

Two practitioners were arrested while distributing truth clarification materials. They are currently being detained in the Second Detention Center in Hanchuan City. They are on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Contact numbers of responsible persons:

In October of 2000, Nanchuan Police Bureau arrested 11 Falun Dafa practitioners. Nanchuan Court sentenced all of the practitioners to forced labor; 5 practitioners were sentenced 1-3 years and sent to Chongqin, while the other 6 were sent to Dianjian for 2-6 years. Falun Dafa practitioner Cao Yang died while in jail. More detailed information about the case is to be confirmed.

In the beginning of April 2004, Nanchuan Police Bureau arrested 5 practitioners and confiscated their belongings. Four of the arrested practitioners were Ms. Xia Minyin, Ms. Zhou Baorong, Ms. Hu Heju, and Ms. Gu Xuejen. The fifth practitioner's identity is currently unknown. They were all sent to Chongqin and sentenced to 1-2.5 years.

Practitioner Ms. Zhen Liofeng, over 40 years of age, was recently followed while distributing Falun Dafa truth clarification materials with her daughter in Nanning City. Immediately after she arrived home, she was arrested by personnel from the security bureau, the Political and Law Committee and the Chanling Police Station. Even her 13-year-old daughter was arrested and questioned. Ms. Zhen is now detained at the Second Detention Center in Nanning City. She has been on a hunger strike to protest her illegal detention.

Also, according to a reliable source, recently when Guangxi Province experienced a record-high heat wave, practitioners detained in Guangxi Women's Forced Labor Camp, which included Ma Shaofong, Xu Chunling, and He Yuying, were forced to stand under the hot sun all day in the field and then tied up at night.

Mr. Lui, (first name unknown) is a practitioner from Jiutai. In 2002, he escaped while still handcuffed from a detention center. Both his parents and older brother also practice Falun Dafa and were forced into homelessness. They went from Jiutai to Changchun. In June of 2004, after Lui went to deliver materials to fellow practitioners in Jiutai, the police followed him back to Changchun and arrested him and his entire family. The police also confiscated all of their money (about 3,000 yuan(1)) and fined their landlord 1,000 yuan. Currently the family's whereabouts and situation are unknown.
