Story in a Small Restaurant

On the morning of July 25, 2004, our group of six left Washington DC and drove to Boston to participate in the parade. About 40 miles from Boston, on Route 90, we ate at a small restaurant next to the highway. While waiting in line, a fellow practitioner gave another customer a truth-clarifying flyer. As we sat down to eat, an older lady asked us where we were going and what we were doing. After hearing a detailed response, she said, "Parking in Boston is very hard, and is also very expensive." She then took out twenty dollars to support our trip to Boston, which we declined, but we thanked her for her kindness. The manager of the restaurant also insisted on giving us some snacks to eat along the way.

Tourists Stop to Watch and Take Photos of the Parade

The parade began at 3:00 p.m. on July 25. Dragons and lions were dancing, waist-drums were beating, the dancers were moving elegantly, and an anti-torture exhibition put tears in people's eyes.

Carrying a travel bag and a suitcase, an American lady approached to enjoy the procession. As the dragon team passed by, she quickly took out a camera and took pictures of the teams.

News reporters had already found places to tape the whole parade. A couple took a picture with the procession of the parade in the background.

A store manager said to us, "Your Teacher is magnificent! I've never seen such a huge parade, it's spectacular. The torture exhibition is so shocking!"

Vying for Falun Dafa Truth-Clarifying Flyers

As I passed out flyers, the spectators were very willing to accept them. When the parade was going through Chinatown, the flyers that I had about the South Africa shooting incident were all quickly taken. Taiwanese fellow practitioners brought along some truth-clarifying booklets called "Historical Justice." After one Chinese person received it, he sat by the roadside and read it very carefully.
