(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution

The Sudden Death of a Lawless officer in Fangzheng County, Heilongjiang Province

Wen Chengfu, director of the Police Station in Fangzheng County, Heilongjiang Province, abused his authority and severely tortured Falun Dafa practitioners. He unlawfully arrested and sentenced practitioners, sent them to forced labor camps, ransacked their homes, swindled money and destroyed Falun Dafa books. Around May 2004, he suddenly died when he was sitting at home.

Lawless Police Officers Persecuting Falun Dafa Receive Retribution

Zhang Qi and Song Guo, assistant directors of a Police Station, had been in charge of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners since July 20 1999, in Yitong County, Jilin Province. Han Jie, the vice head of the National Security Department, had been closely following Jiang's regime in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners over the past few years. They arranged and participated in the arrest of Falun Dafa practitioners. They arrested 150 practitioners, sent them to forced labor camps, and extorted over a million yuan (1) from them. A few days ago, these three people were punished for "serious administrative demerit," and Han Jie was dismissed from his position.

Two Cases of Karmic Retribution

Che Baiqian, the former principal of Normal College of Beihua University, used to support Falun Dafa before the persecution. However, after the persecution of Falun Dafa began, he would not listen to practitioners' kind advice and viciously slandered Falun Dafa. He later died from cancer.

Duan Xibin was formerly the principal of No. 14 Middle School at Shulan. There are many Falun Dafa practitioners in this school. He closely followed Jiang's regime and the "610 office" (2) in the persecution against Falun Dafa. He died of leukemia.

Instances of Police Officers Receiving Retribution for Persecuting Falun Dafa in Shulan City, Jilin Province

He Xin is the director of the Police Station in Shulan City. Under his direct command, police illegally used special keys to enter practitioners' homes. They broke into the practitioners' homes and abducted more than ten, and sent them to forced labor camps (sentences vary from 1 to 3 years). At the end of April 2004, under his command, police broke into practitioners' homes every day at around 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM for several days. They abducted more than twenty practitioners and illegally held them in the City Detention Center. Due to He Xin's influence, his relatives hate Falun Gong. His father suddenly died of cancer in 2003. He Xin still did not awaken. Recently, his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Head of Tiande Village Police Station of Shulan City Died in a Car Accident

Zhou Jian, male, 40 years old, was formerly the head of Liangjiashan village police station, and is now the head of Tiande village police station. Zhou Jian had been closely following Jiang's regime in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners since July 20 1999. He ruthlessly arrested practitioners everywhere, tortured their bodies and extorted money from their families. Due to his influence, his relatives hate Falun Gong. In May, he hit a tree while driving drunk. Zhang Xi, his wife, the head of material section, was injured with five broken ribs. Zhou Jian died on the scene. His eldest sister, a brother-in-law, and the child of his youngest sister all died in this accident. The child of his brother was injured. His nephew and another brother-in-law were badly injured.

Former Director of the Board of Health of Huailai County, Hebei Province Receives Retribution

In December 2001, Zhang Xianmin, former director of the board of health of Huailai County, arrested Liu Zhaohui, a Falun Dafa practitioner. Later, Mr. Liu was sentenced to three years in prison. Now, Zhang Xianmin has been diagnosed with last stage throat cancer.

The Principal of the No. 4 Middle School of Dongxihu Section, Huhan City Who Persecuted Falun Dafa Received Retribution

Jiao Xiangmin, the principal of the No. 4 Middle School of Dongxihu Section in Huhan city, Hubei province, participated in persecuting practitioners in his school. He helped the brainwashing center by sending practitioners there, and deducted their salaries. He also followed oral orders from the upper level, and told practitioners that they had to sign guarantee letters, otherwise they would not have jobs. Now, he has received retribution. At the end of April, 2004, when his wife, he and another person went to visit his son, there was an accident. His wife was killed, and he was rendered unconscious at once. His head was badly injured, and he is restricted to the hospital.
