(Clearwisdom.net) The State of Maryland was the main stop for Wang Taihua, the Anhui Provincial Party Secretary and his entourage, who are visiting America. We have heard that many Chinese living in America, but originally from Anhui, were trying to find out the group's itinerary, so they could visit with them. The Embassy and officials did not respond to their requests.

Normally, governmental officials love to meet with the local Chinese, and all the more those who originate from their own Province. Why did Wang Taihua hide, and why is he afraid to be seen by his former friends and citizens? The reason is that he was sued in the Massachusetts Regional Federal Court in Boston by Falun Dafa practitioners on May 24, 2004. He is being tried for genocide, torture and acts against humanity. He does not dare to be seen in public in the United States. He quickly fled after a meeting with some officials in Maryland on May 26.

We heard that some Maryland residents discovered his schedule and went to the Maryland State Government to report Wang's crimes in persecuting Falun Gong. They also explained that he was being sued in Boston and asked them to refuse to meet with him. The Maryland State Government employees were very grateful for this information. The residents' action may have caused Wang's quick departure.

During the past 5 years, as the highest official in Anhui Province, Wang followed Jiang and his regime closely in order to be promoted politically. He called for a "solid ban," "strict attack," and "further defamation" of Falun Gong in many provincial meetings. Wang actively promoted slanderous Falun Dafa videos and other materials through the Party system into the entire province to brainwash people and fan the flames of hostility toward Falun Gong.

In Anhui Province, where Wang is in charge, Falun Dafa practitioners have been sent to prisons and labor camps. The "610 Office" system uses torture as the primary means to brainwash practitioners and force them to give up their faith. They also converted the mental hospital into a place where Nazi style mind control and psychotropic drug regimens are used to torture Falun Dafa practitioners.

According to Clearwisdom.net's incomplete statistics, as of May 26, 2004, fourteen Falun Dafa torture deaths have been confirmed. As the Province Governor and the Provincial Party Secretary, Wang has an undeniable responsibility for these cruel murders.

Wang is the second Provincial level Official who has been sued in U.S. courts. On April 22, the Chinese Minister of Commerce, Bo Xilai, was sued in the Washington, D.C. District Court for genocide, crimes against humanity and torture. Bo directly planned and directed the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in Dalian City and Liaoning Province.

Jiang Zemin, the head villain in the persecution of Falun Dafa has been sued in six countries. The calls to "Bring Jiang to justice," and "dismiss Jiang from his position" are echoed overseas. Beside Bo Xilai and Wang Taihua, Luo Gan, Zhou Yongkang, Li Lanqing, Liu Qi, etc. have been sued in other countries as well.

There was much interest in Wang Taihua's visit to the States, but he fled in disgrace. This is the growing international embarrassment of those promoters of Jiang's persecution of Falun Dafa.
