1. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wu Qinchai on Her 14th Day of Hunger Strike
In mid-March, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wu Qinchai was taken to a detention center from the Anyang City Hospital. Wang Yuansheng led other members of the Anyang City "610 Office" (l) located in Beiguan District, Anyang City, Henen Province to abduct Ms. Wu. After twelve days of hunger strike, Ms. Wu walked out of the detention center with righteous thoughts in mind. Four days later she was abducted again. She went on a hunger strike for the second time, which has lasted fourteen days. She has suffered tremendous mental and physical abuse.

2. [Tianjin] Zhang Dexiu Arrested in Xiqing District
On April 23, 2004, Xiqing District Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Dexiu was arrested by the Xiyingmen Police Station in Xiqing District, Tianjin. Zhang's home was unlawfully searched.

3. [Changting County, Fujian Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Arrested within a Week of Release from Prison
Changting County Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Yanmei was released from prison on April 21, 2004. On April 26, the Changting County Police Department again placed Chen under arrest. It has also been reported that the Changting County Court unlawfully put four Falun Dafa practitioners on trial at the end of March.

4. [Liaoning Province] Four Falun Dafa Practitioners Held in the Wafangdian Detention Center
Falun Dafa practitioners Wang Xingtian, Wang Dianwen, and Zhou Lianfang live at Shisanlipu in Jinzhou, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Shulan lives in Duoshan Township, Wafangdian City in Dalian City. On April 22 and 25, the four practitioners were arrested by local police stations. They are currently being unlawfully held in custody at the Wafangdian City Detention Center.
5. [Qi County, Henan Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Remain in the Brainwashing Class
On April 1, 2004, Qi County Falun Dafa practitioners Qu Xiuran, Wang Zhi, and Wang Cuilin were turned in to the police by village cadres while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. The Xicai Township Police Station coordinated with Shiyuan Police Station and took the practitioners to the Qi County Detention Center. Fifteen days later, the practitioners were transferred to a brainwashing center located within the Kaifeng City Social Welfare Institute in the capital city of Henan Province, where they have remained ever since.
6. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners Held in the City's Detention Center
Bai Zhuoyun and Zhang Dianying are Falun Dafa practitioners of the Bureau of Forestry in Huadian City, Jilin Province. On the evening of April 16, they were arrested by the Hongshi Town Police Station while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. The two practitioners are being held in the Huadian City Detention Center. Other practitioners arrested in Jiapigou, Jilin Province awhile back, including Tian Wujun, Gao Defen, Zhao Lingling, Yu Shuqian, and Wang Hongzhang, are also held in the same detention center.

7. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Nine Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
From April 25, 2004 to the end of the month, nine more Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested in Jishu Town, Shulan City, Jilin Province. Officers sent by the Shulan City "610 Office" carried out the arrests. They ransacked practitioners' homes and took away a copy machine and a large number of Falun Gong books.

8. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yang Xiaochen Unlawfully Arrested by Police; Held in the Jilin City Detention Center
Jilin City Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Xiaochen is in his fifties. On February 24, 2004, the Beishan Police Station in Chuanying District, Jilin City arrested him. Mr. Yang has since been held in the Jilin City Detention Center. Officials of the detention center have denied his family any visits.

9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Information about Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted in Jianchangying Town, Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng City in April 2004
On April 16, Chifeng City Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Tingjun was turned in to the authorities for painting Falun Gong signs and was arrested at his home. (The government has offered a reward of 5,000 Yuan (2) for information that leads to the arrest of a Falun Dafa practitioner.
On April 24, Ms. Zhang Cuihua, Zheng Daqin, and Ji Wenling were abducted to the Chifeng Brainwashing Center from their homes or while working in the field. Meng Qingchao was also abducted on the same day. Meng's whereabouts is unknown.
On April 30, Ms. Wang Yanping and Ms. Zhai Cuixia were arrested. The two practitioners are being persecuted in the Pingzhuang Detention Center.
