(Clearwisdom.net) In order to support the lawsuit brought against Jiang Zemin in Chicago, Falun Gong practitioners in North Carolina prepared a performance to expose Jiang's brutal persecution of Falun Gong in downtown Raleigh.

The practitioners exposed the tortures carried out by Chinese police, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, and highlighted an appeal by Western practitioners on Tiananmen Square. In the first segment, practitioners demonstrated common torture methods carried out against practitioners, including force-feeding, being confined in an iron cage, being hung up with hands cuffed, and slave labor.

Through a play, the practitioners recounted the story of a western practitioner, from the beginning of his practice of Falun Gong, to how he felt shocked by the persecution and finally went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on Tiananmen Square. This play was directed and performed by the western practitioner himself. The play also included scenes where he was beaten by police officers on Tiananmen Square and another western practitioner moving the police officers deeply with her singing about Falun Dafa in Chinese.

Many people came and went, including a lot of students visiting a museum nearby. They were especially appalled by the torture methods. A passer-by said, "Now I know, there are no human rights there!" Another visitor told practitioners that he often travels between China and the U.S., and he wanted very much to learn about Falun Gong. He left his business card and asked a practitioner to call him. Another passerby watched the entire demonstration from beginning to end.

A practitioner's wife who does not practice Falun Gong also came to watch the performance. When she visited the museum nearby, she heard people talking about the persecution, "Is that indeed real?" Many people felt shocked at the persecution happening in China. She said that the combination of the exercise demonstration and exposing the torture methods had a very good effect. It displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa, which formed a sharp contrast to the evil persecution. This left people with a strong impression and encouraged them to find out more about Falun Gong.
