Japan is known for the magnificent mountain Fujiyama and its gorgeous sakura flower. The week from the end of March to the beginning of April was a period called "full bloom," when the sakuras looked most cheerful. To fully enjoy the beautiful scenery, people set up booths and had drinks and snacks under sakura trees in addition to walking about, as is the tradition.

Dance, flower arrangement and judo activities came into season too. Falun Gong practitioners and the Minghui school in Japan demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and exposed the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China at a Sakura Festival in Tokyo. Their peacefulness manifested "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." The audience showed their appreciation for their beautiful demonstration with warm applause.
