(Clearwisdom.net) Sun Zhifen from Shuangcheng City, Harbin, was arrested at a production site for truth-clarifying materials in September 2001 and sentenced to three years of forced labor, which was increased to 11 years of imprisonment in 2004. During her trial, Sun Zhifen refused to answer any of the judge's questions. She would only repeat that she was innocent and that it's not a crime to live according to "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and to be a good person. She also demanded the restoration of Teacher's reputation and explained that Falun Dafa is good, that murder or suicide are not permitted by the principles of Falun Gong and that these kinds of incidents were staged to frame Falun Gong. The judge and police stopped Sun Zhifen from speaking, and expelled her family and other spectators from the court.
Xu Zhihua, a chemist from the 4th pharmaceutical plant, was abducted at a materials production site in September 2001. Xu Zhihua was sentenced to three years of forced labor, which was increased to 10 years of imprisonment in 2004.
Yan Chunling, a resident of Nangang district in Harbin city, was arrested at a materials production site in May 2003 and sentenced to 9 years in prison. The prison refused to accept her. Yan Chunling was locked up in a small cell (1) at the 2nd detention center of Harbin, where she was handcuffed and chained.
Zhao Hong is an engineer working at the Harbin University of Science and Technology. Her sister Zhao Xin was tortured to death for practicing Falun Gong. Zhao Hong was abducted from the street in September 2002, and had her home searched. Zhao Hong was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment in March 2004. The charge was that, in compliance with her sister Zhao Xin's will, Zhao Hong gave a fellow practitioner 30,000 Yuan, which had been collected by other Falun Gong practitioners to support Zhao Xin.
Zhang Chuanzuo, a resident of Harbin city, was arrested at a materials production site in May 2003 and illegally sentenced to 15 years in prison.
(1) The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners behind their back in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and completely dark. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe
