Falun Dafa practitioner in his 50s, Mr. Hu Shiming from Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province was abducted by "610 Office" employees in April 2002, and sentenced to one year of forced labor. In the Chaoyang Labor Camp, police beat him up, and poured cold water on him, while he shouted "Falun Dafa is great!" Whenever workers and labor camp officials came to team no. 5, he would seize the chance to clarify the truth to them. He did not have any fear when the evil shocked him with an electric baton. He shouted "Falun Dafa is great!" whenever police beat him. The labor camp refused to release him after his term was up. He then went on hunger strike to protest. Police released him on the fifth day of the hunger strike, and took him to a bus stop.

Thirty-seven-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Jiao Shoutong, from Qingshan Township, Yushu City, Jilin Province, was detained twice, and sentenced to labor camp twice since the beginning of the persecution. He lost his freedom for three years, and was tortured both mentally and physically. His family also suffered from unimaginable hardship.

In the middle of December 2003, Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Zhao Peiyuan, and his fellow practitioner Qi Lan were abducted when passing out Falun Dafa materials at Yangji Township, Shangcai County, Henan Province. Soon after, Falun Dafa practitioners, Ms. Qi Hua and Ms. Wang Fuyun (from Dian Township) were also abducted. Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Zhang Xizhong (also from Shangcai County) was also arrested several months earlier, and went through brutal torture. All of the above practitioners are currently detained in the Shangcai County Detention Center, and were sentenced to prison terms without open trials. Mr. Zhao Peiyuan has been on hunger strike ever since being abducted, and is dying.

In April 2002, Falun Dafa practitioners in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, Mr. Zhang Xingye, Mr. Zhang Zhong, Mr. Dai Zhidong, Mr. Li Hai, and Mr. Jiang Derong were abducted one by one, and were sentenced to prison terms without open trials in November 2002. Mr. Zhang Zhong, Mr. Dai Zhidong, and Mr. Li Hai were sentenced to12 years, Mr. Zhang Xingye was sentenced to 10 years, and Mr. Jiang Derong was sentenced to 7 years. They are all being jailed in Daqing Prison. In January 204, Mr. Zhang Zhong was beaten up in the prison for practing the Falun Gong exercises. His condition has deteriorated and he has been vomiting up anything he eats, and is even vomiting blood. His life is in danger. Daqing Prison officials not only refused to release him, but also refused to send him to the hospital. More over, they refused to allow his family to visit him.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Zhu Chengying, from Leshan City, Sichuan Province escaped after being abducted by police on August 11, 2001. She went to Chengdu City, and explained the facts of the persecution of Falun Dafa to the public. She was abducted and detained in the Chengdu City Detention Center in 2002, sentenced to forced labor and later and sent to the Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp. She was rejected by the labor camp because she did not pass her physical check up. She was sent back to her hometown in Leshan because her physical condition was worsening, and was then detained in the Leshan City Detention Center. The Leshan City Procuratorate sued her, and may be sentencing her around the end of February in the Leshan City Middle District Court.

Mr. Zhang Liangmin is in his 50s. He is an employee of the Phosphate Factory in Tongling City, Anhui Province, and a resident of Henggang Village. He started learning Falun Dafa in 1995, and is the volunteer assistant in Henggang region. He was tortured until he suffered from a mental collapse and afterwards could not take care of himself. He was released several days before the Spring Festival, but his mental condition was still not fully recovered. On February 29, 2004, he left home and no one knows his whereabouts.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Yu Xiuhua, was a National Flag Holder in the financial industry. She went to Beijing twice in December 1999 and January 2001, to appeal for Falun Dafa. Simply because she wanted to speak the truth on behalf of Dafa, she was detained, fined, and expelled from the Party. On March 23, 2001, Ms. Yu was sentenced to two years of forced labor, and was let out on parole because her health condition deteriorated from the torture. Authorities monitored her family phone, followed her, and ransacked her house many times. Her family members have all been harassed.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Gao Fenglian from Yushu City, Jilin Province was detained twice in 1999 and 2000. On March 10, 2002, police abducted her, and interrogated her with torture for more than two hours, until the electric baton they used to shock her ran out of power. Upon reaching the detention center after the interrogation, she discovered that her body was covered with numerous hard bumps. Her hands turned black in several spots from being burnt by the electric batons, her shoulders were swollen, and her lower back turned a purple black color. She was sent to another detention center after 18 days, and was then sent to the Heizuizi Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province for one year. Her elderly mother died during this year, but Ms. Gao Fenglian was not allowed to see her mother before she died.

Falun Dafa practitioners employed by the No. 54 Research Institute of China Electronic Technology in Shijiashuang City, Hebei Province were tortured. Ms. Huang Yulan and Ms. Wu Fenglan are detained in the brainwashing center now. Mr. Zhao Ruizhi, Jing Xin, Mr. Guo Jinpeng, and Ms. Cui Weina were all tortured during the previous brainwashing session. Retired employee Mr. Han Jianguo, Ms. Dong Yanping, Ms. Li Yuling, Mr. Li Qutang, Mr. Bao Keyin, and Mr. Li Jinchang were all arrested by the Police Station No. 373, and some of them were forced to pay a "guarantee fee." On February 6, 2004, Police from Substation No. 373 arrested Ms. Dong Yanping. Her brother went to the Substation, and requested her release, but police arrested her brother as well. Police also ransacked her home and her mother's home, but found nothing. Her brother was released later, but no one knows where Ms. Dong is.

On January 30, 2004, police in Farm No. 854 of Hulin City in Heilongjiang Province, together with police from the Mudanjiang City Railroad system arrested Ms. Xiang Jihong, and Ms. Wang Meiying and took them to the Mudanjiang City Railroad Detention Center. On a later date, police also arrested practitioner Ms. Ding Xinghua from Farm No. 854.

On February 3, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Wei Yi, from Hedongjie, Xichang City, Sichuan Province was abducted from his family field by police. They forced him to go back home, broke open his gate, and ransacked his home. Now Mr. Wei Yi is being detained in the Liangshanzhou Detention Center. Sixty-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Gao Deyu, also from Xichang City, was again arrested from his home on February 13, 2004. She has been taken away to a brainwashing center or a detention center many times. This time, she escaped using strong righteous thoughts.

Falun Dafa practitioner from Beijing, Mr. Guo Weimin was falsely arrested in Fujiang Province at the beginning of August 2002, and has been detained ever since. Jiang and his corrupt political regime are trying to conduct the persecution by manipulating China's legal system, and have planned to put him on trial on February 29, at 9:30 a.m., in the 6^th Hall of the Second People's Court of Beijing.
