After Tearing Down Falun Dafa Flyers, The Head of the "610 Office," Shang Ergui, Is Reported to Have Had a Relapse of a Heart Problem
Shang Ergui is both the Political and Judiciary Committee Deputy Secretary and head of the "610 Office"* of SuiZhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. He was a pioneer in persecuting Falun Gong. In the winter of 2003, he was observed tearing down Falun Dafa flyers from Xishan Street to 102 Line, but the people who saw him misunderstood what he was doing and instead reported that he was pasting up the flyers. When the police caught him for putting up flyers, Shang Ergui told them, "My name is Shang Ergui and I am the Political and Judiciary Committee Deputy Secretary." Despite his explanation, the police still took him to the Public Security Bureau. He was released after he clearly proved his identify, but he was sent to the hospital the next day due to a recurring heart problem.
* The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
The Chief of Jiamusi City Public Security Bureau (Heilongjiang Province), Song Jinhe, Is Removed from Office
Since July 20, 1999, The Chief of Jiamusi City Public Security Bureau, Song Jinhe, incited the personnel working under him to vigorously persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Several thousand Falun Dafa practitioners were abducted and a few hundred practitioners were sentenced to "reeducation through forced labor." Many Falun Dafa practitioners' families were broken up and many Falun Dafa practitioners were forced to leave their homes. Eight practitioners have been persecuted to death in Jiamusi City. Song Jinhe should take the bulk of the responsibility for these acts of persecution.
Heaven's vengeance is slow but sure. On December 27, 2003, Jiamusi Television broadcast the following news headline: The Chief of Jiamusi City Public Security Bureau, Song Jinhe, has been removed from Office.
Zhong Wenfu, the Chief of the Arms Department of Renlichang, Suining City, Sichuan Province Met with Karmic Retribution Due to Persecuting Falun Dafa Practitioners
On December 15, 2001, thirteen Lanjiang Town Falun Dafa practitioners were abducted and held for four days and five nights by six government officials, including Zhong Wenfu, Yang Chao, Tan Hualun, and others. The thirteen Falun Dafa practitioners are: Ms. Luo Junlan, Ms. Tan Youlan, Xiao Huayu, Yang Qun, Dai Yuhe, Ms. Tang Deshu, Yuan Shulin, Chen Kaike, Yang Qiangying, Xie Qunhua, Cai Shuqun, Liao Qingfu, Ou Zhongliang. The captors took turns watching the practitioners and didn't allow the practitioners to sleep. Every day, the practitioners were only allowed to eat thin rice soup with pickled cabbage. The food was cooked by Zhong Wenfu's family, and the practitioners had to pay 50 yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 yuan] to him for the food every day. Once, practitioner Ms. Luo Junlan was forced to sit on the tile floor by Zhong Wenfu for two hours, and he cursed her very loudly just because she had sat on a comforter and crossed her legs. Finally, a deputy secretary felt bad and asked her to get up. They also asked Lu Lin to record what transpired and tried to force the Dafa practitioners to curse their teacher and Dafa. In addition to the meal fees, each practitioner had 5,000 yuan extorted from them. In total, the practitioners were forced to pay 70,000 yuan.
In November 2003, Zhong Wenfu was killed in a car accident in Sanjia Town, Suining City. He was only forty-one years old.
