1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Guo Chunlan Died from Harassment and Intimidation in 2001, Never Cleared of False Charges
Ms. Guo Chunlan, in her sixties, lived at Shuangyushutun in Limeng Town, Dongli District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. She was in good health prior to the suppression of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. She was intimidated after the persecution started and stayed at her home doing Falun Gong exercises by herself. However, the village's Party Secretary showed up frequently to harass her. She would not be able to eat for days afterwards. Later she developed stomach cancer and died in October 2001, fearful and without having her innocence restored.
2. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Dai Jun, Unlawfully Sentenced to Six Years in Prison, Files Lawsuit with Heilongjiang Procuratorate
Mr. Dai Jun, 28, is from Mishan, Heilongjiang Province. He was arrested on April 25, 2002 for distributing truth-clarifying leaflets. Officers at the Political Security Section of the Jixi City Police Department tortured him in order to extort information. Officers from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Jiguan District Branch Police Department were also called in. Besides being struck and kicked, Mr. Dai was subjected to various forms of torture, including the "Tiger Bench [see http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html for an illustration]," having heavy weights piled on his head, having his mouth stuffed full of hot mustard, having cold air blown on him constantly, having both feet burned, being handcuffed with his arms behind his back in a painful and awkward position, etc. The officers struck his legs, which were tied to sticks. Mr. Dai's legs became numb, and he could not walk. After 72 hours of non-stop torture he was taken to a detention center. Four other practitioners arrested at the same time as he was also suffered varying degrees of torture. One of the practitioners is a college lecturer.
Mr. Dai continues to suffer from dizziness, deteriorating eyesight, nausea, and numbness in his arms and legs. After being arrested, he was unlawfully sentenced to six years in prison. He has filed a lawsuit with Heilongjiang Province Procuratorate regarding the inhumane torture he has been put through.
3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Yali, Ms. Liu Xiangyun, and Ms. Chu Zhong Mei Unlawfully Sentenced to Prison
On November 16, 2004, Tianqiao District Court in Jinan City sentenced Ms. Liu Xiangyun, Ms. Yu Yali, and Ms. Chu Zhongmei each to seven years in prison. Ms. Su Shuzhen was sentenced to four years in prison.
Ms. Liu, Ms. Yu, Ms. Chu and Ms. Su were followed by Jinan City plainclothes police officers in April 2004. On April 21, they were arrested at the East Gate of Baotuquan or at their homes. Their homes were then ransacked. Police confiscated personal computers, printers, copying machines, and Falun Dafa materials.
4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Shen Yuqiong Unlawfully Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison; Her Husband Has Mental Breakdown
Ms. Shen Yuqiong lives at Xijiaba in Jintang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On May 28, 2004, she took a bus to Shengping Town in Pengzhou City to clarify the truth to Luo Yuncai, head of the town who engaged in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. In the office of the town government, Luo deceived Ms. Shen into providing her name and address and immediately notified the police station.
The same afternoon, Ms. Shen was taken back to Jintang County. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated Falun Dafa materials and held her in custody at the Jintang County Detention Center. In late November she was unlawfully sentenced to three and a half years of forced labor. Her husband could not bear it and had a mental breakdown two months later. He has been sent to Huaikou Psychiatric House in Jintang County.

5. [Chongqing] Ms. Chen Changlan and Ms. Ren Xiaoling Unlawfully Sentenced to Forced Labor
On November 6, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Chen Changlan and Ms. Ren Xiaoling, from the Jiangbei District of Chongqing, went to Caijia Town in Jiangjin City to distribute Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials. They were arrested by the local police and later sent to Jiangjin Detention Center for torture.
On November 22, the two practitioners were each sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. Jiangjin police have since taken them to the Maojiahsan Women's Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing.

6. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Ling from Hanshan District Is Tortured after Arrest
Ms. Liu Ling lives in the Hanshan District of Handan City, Hebei Province. On September 23, 2004, two officials from the Yuxinnan Administrative Office followed her to a Falun Dafa materials production site. The two officials collaborated with officers from the Maoxi Police Station and arrested Ms. Liu. After being tortured by officers from the Yuxinnan Police Station, Ms. Liu was subsequently sent to the Handan City No. 2 Detention Center for further abuse.

On the afternoon of November 23, 2004, local police arrested Mr. Zhang Wentao, his wife and their four-year-old child in Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province. 8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Six Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
At 8:30 p.m. on November 24, 2004, six practitioners from Weifang City, Shandong Province, drove to Anqiu and other areas to distribute truth-clarifying materials and hang up banners. Local police arrested the six practitioners and took them to Anqiu City Detention Center. The practitioners are Ms. Wu Faqin, Ms. Liu Aimei, Ms. Xu Wenhui, Mr. Wang Xinmin, Mr. Wang Changwei, and Guo. The police ransacked the homes of Ms. Wu and Ms. Liu. Wu and Liu have been released. The police extorted 15,000 yuan from each of their families. The other four practitioners are still being held in custody.
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Guixiang and Wu Jie Unlawfully Sentenced to Forced Labor
Officers from the Minkang Police Station arrested Ms. Yang Guixiang and Wujie while they were distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials. They were taken to the Shuangyang No. 3 Detention Center, and each of them was later unlawfully sentenced to one year of forced labor.
10. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Qiong from Shashi District Is Arrested; Her Whereabouts Are Unknown
Ms. Wang Qiong, 40, is a teacher at Hongxing School in the Shashi District of Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. On November 22 officers from the city's 610 Office arrested her while she was teaching a class. Her whereabouts are unknown.
11. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Xiaohua and Mr. Wang Kaibo Face Prison Terms
Officials from the State Security Bureau arrested Ms. Wang Xiaohua, from Kaifeng City, Henan Province. In July, her case was transferred to the Longting District Procuratorate. In October the Procuratorate sent back her files due to lack of evidence. However, Kaifeng City's 610 Office and the city's police department recently provided so-called supplementary "evidence" and transferred her files to the Longting District Procuratorate again asking for approval of her arrest. Ms. Wang Xiaohua is being held at the city's detention center.
Mr. Wang Kaibo, from Kaifeng City, Henan Province, was recently arrested. The Kaifeng Suburban Procuratorate is prosecuting him. A hearing has been scheduled at the Kaifeng Suburban Court in the next few days.

12. [Yuzhou, Henan Province] Police Take Ms. Guo Xiaohong from Huolong Town to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Guo Xiaohong lives in Wadian Township in Huolong Town, Yuzhou, Henan Province. Officers from the Huolong Town Police Station arrested her at her home for no reason. She is currently being held at a brainwashing center located within the hotel of the city's Party committee. Her two children, one in elementary school and one in middle school, have been left at home unattended.
13. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Wang Tao Is Arrested
Mr. Wang Tao, who lives in the Xiahuayuan area in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, has been arrested recently. He is being unlawfully held at the Xuanhua Detention Center.

14. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Nan and Her Daughter Jing Yanjie Arrested
Ms. Zhang Nan and her daughter Ms. Jing Yan operate a barbershop in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. They were turned in to the police while raising public awareness about Falun Dafa in their shop. Chen Wanyou of the Jiamusi City Station Security Unit, Geng Yue of the Changsheng Police Station, and other officers arrested Ms. Zhang and her daughter.
15. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Ye's Whereabouts Remain Unknown after Her Arrest
Officials of Xiantao's 610 Office arrested Ms. Chen Ye, who is from Xiantao City, Hubei Province, and have detained her for over two months. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

16. [Chongqing] More Information about Ms. Su Li from the Jiangjin Area
Around 7:00 p.m. on September 30, 2004, eight or nine police officers broke into Ms. Su Li's home. The officers were led by Liu Guangfu, head of the No. 1 Section of the Jiangjin City Police Department; Gao Weixing, leader of the 610 Office; Wan Fenghua, leader of the 610 Office; and Liu Zenghuai, director of the Office of Social Stability. One officer's name is Hu Liang. The police confiscated Falun Dafa lectures on cassette tapes, Falun Dafa books and Ms. Su's cellular phone. Ms. Su Li refused to cooperate while being arrested, and the officers had to carry her to the police vehicle. She has been on a hunger strike at the Langshan Detention Center since the first day she was taken there.
In October, she was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor. She is still being held at the Langshan Detention Center.
17. [Xishui County, Hubei Province] Ms. Guo Qiushou and Ms. Qu Chanjuan from Guankou Town Are Arrested
Ms. Guo Qiushou and Ms. Qu Chanjuan are from Guanqiao Village in Guankou Town, Xishui County, Huanggang City, Hubei Province. On November 23, Luotian County police arrested them while they were distributing truth-clarifying leaflets and raising public awareness of the persecution and took them to the county's police department.
18. [Shanghai] Facts of the Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners at Tilanqiao Prison, a Subsidiary of the Shanghai Bureau of Prison Administration
Mr. Xiong Wenqi is now on a hunger strike at Tilanqiao Prison in Shanghai. He went on hunger strike several times in the past, and each of his hunger strikes lasted from several months to a year and a half. Mr. Qu Yanlai, arrested in October 2002, has been on a hunger strike ever since his arrest. Mr. Qu is a practitioner from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province.

19. [Wu'an City, Hubei Province] Two Practitioners Taken to a Brainwashing Center inside a Detention Center
On the morning of November 14, 2004, two practitioners were doing Falun Gong exercises at home in Qiushuping Village, Huoshui Township, Wu'an City, Hebei Province. Officers from the Koushang Police Station, led by Yang Dezeng of the 610 Office, broke in after receiving reports and arrested the two practitioners. Their homes were ransacked. They were interrogated and sent to the Wu'an City Detention Center Brainwashing Class the following day.

20. [Yunnan Province] Mr. Zhang Wenliang from Shandong Province Arrested in Yunnan; His Whereabouts Remain Unknown
Mr. Zhang Wenliang, around 32 years old, is from Weifang City, Shandong Province. For his firm belief in "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance," he was sentenced to three years of forced labor in Shandong Province, to be served outside the labor camp. In 2000 he went to Beijing to validate Falun Dafa. In early January 2001, he followed a Yunnan practitioner to Kunming City, the capital city of Yunnan Province, to produce Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials. He was arrested at the end of the same month. His whereabouts have since remained unknown.
21. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Wang Bin, over 60 years old, is an engineer at the No. 2 Design and Research Institute of the Machinery Ministry located in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. On the morning of November 8 he was spotted while distributing truth-clarifying materials. After receiving reports from people unaware of the truth of the persecution, the police arrested him and ransacked his home. He is currently being held at the Xiacheng District Detention Center.
Ms. Shou Jianfeng, 43, was arrested on November 22 at her home on Ziyang Street in the Shangcheng District of Hangzhou City. Her home was ransacked.
Ms. Jiang Yunmei from Nanhuayuan in Hangzhou City was taken to a brainwashing center around November 17. A practitioner in the nearby Fuyang area managed to escape arrest at about the same time.
22. [Yunnan Province] Ms. Shi Yun Is Due to Give Birth to a Baby; Her Husband Is Prevented from Returning Home to Take Care of Her
Ms. Shi Yun, of the Kunming City No. 2 Professional School, has checked into the No. 1 Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical Institute. Her baby is due very soon. As she doesn't have anyone to take care of her, she has applied to the leaders of the Yunnan No. 2 Forced Labor Camp, where her husband is being held, to allow him to serve his forced labor term outside the camp. The labor camp authorities have agreed on the condition that the Kunming City No. 2 Professional School provides a letter of guarantee. Wan Jianguo, principal of the school, has refused to do so.
23. [Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Wenjie, of the Chengdu Military Zone, Remains in Custody
It has been learned that Ms. Zhao Wenjie, of the Chengdu Military Zone, has been released from Nanmuzisi Women's Forced Labor Camp after her term ended in April 2004. Military officials refused to let her return home as she refused to be "transformed." She is being held in a suburb of Chengdu undergoing so-called "transformation" and brainwashing.

Ms. Wang Xinmei and Ms. Chen Xiulin live in Dadian Village in Guilin Town, Lin County, Henan Province. One evening recently police arrested them at their homes. They are being unlawfully held at the Lin County Detention Center.

25. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Zhiping, of Quanyang Forestry Bureau, Is in Critical Condition As a Result of Torture
Mr. Wang Zhiping works at the Quanyang Forestry Bureau in Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province. On July 13, 2004, he was arrested at his home. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. Wang Shouliang and several other police officers from the Quanyang Forestry Bureau Police Department carried out the arrest. Mr. Wang was forcibly taken to the police department's detention center.
On October 22, 2004, the Quanyang Forestry Bureau Court held a secret hearing at the detention center. Mr. Wang was unlawfully sentenced to one year in prison. After five months of torture in the detention center, Wang was taken to a hospital for emergency treatment. He remained in the hospital for twelve days.
On November 17, 2004, Wang was still on oxygen in the hospital as part of the treatment for his heart problems. On November 18, officers from the Quanyang Forestry Bureau Police Department transported him to Heizuizi Prison in spite of his critical condition. Prison authorities refused to admit him with his poor health, but officials of the forestry bureau police department refused to release him. His family went to the police department several times demanding his release without making any progress. Wang has become extremely weak, and his life is in imminent danger.
