(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, November 13, Dafa practitioners from Sheffield, London, Manchester and Lincoln came to the Sheffield City Center to promote Falun Gong and to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
The weather was pleasant with sunshine and moderate temperatures. There were thousands of people passing by the practitioners' site. Practitioners from the surrounding cities arrived at the city center around 11:30 a.m. We unfolded four large banners as the background of our truth-clarification site, which drew a lot of people's attention. We also set up a table to display leaflets and a petition form, along with posters that detailed the tortures used by the authorities in China in their attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up the practice.
Throughout the event, the practitioners continuously demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Many passers-by stopped to watch our exercise demonstrations and read our banners and display boards. People were eager to ask questions such as, "What is Falun Gong--" "Why is the persecution happening--" "How can I help to stop this persecution--" and so on, which gave practitioners the opportunity to tell them about the human rights abuses more deeply.
After learning the truth of the persecution, people signed their names on a petition form to bring Jiang Zemin to justice. The former leader of China is the main instigator of the persecution against Falun Gong, so people were keen to hold him responsible for his crimes against humanity and to support bringing him to justice in a court of law. Some people indicated that they will tell their friends about Falun Gong. Also, a number of passers-by were interested in learning the exercises and asked for details about the local practice sites and contact persons.

The whole activity went smoothly and successfully. Nearly two thousand Falun Dafa leaflets, four hundred Falun Dafa English newspapers and some Chinese materials and VCDs were distributed.
