In December 2003, Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Qi from Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province was unjustly sentenced to a labor camp, and sent to the Xidayingzi Labor Camp in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. Zhang Qi has been locked in a small cell, and has been on hunger strike for over 20 days. Police force-fed Zhang Qi, and now they are giving him intravenous injections.
Mr. Lu Feng from Gaocheng City, Hebei Province and his mother Wu Xiuqin are both Falun Dafa practitioners. Ms. Wu has been abducted and brought to brainwashing classes twice, and has been put in detention once. She became very sick from the severe torture. In March of 2003, Mr. Lu Feng played truth-clarifying audiotapes to students, and was reported. He was detained in the Gaocheng City Detention Center, and was beaten up. Police deprived him of sleep. Later, police extorted 2,000 Yuan from his family, and then still sent him to a brainwashing class. At that time Lu's legs were unable to walk as a result of the mistreatment he received in the detention center. He escaped on the same day, and had to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being wrongfully arrested at home. On November 6, 2003, Mr. Lu was abducted again by police, detained, and made to do forced labor everyday. He went on hunger strike to protest, but he is still being tortured in the evil den.

The following is an account from a citizen in mainland China:
I am an employee of the Chengdu City Town Business Administration. Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Huang Min was our Director, and she was the best we have had recently out of several. In July 2000, in order to validate the Fa, she disregarded Provincial Secretary Zhou (male) and Chengdu City Secretary Wang's attempts to interfere, and went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing, where she told the public "Falun Dafa is Good!" She was caught afterwards by Zhou, Wang, and the "610 Office," who tortured her mentally and physically. They sent her to a labor camp for 18 months. This was before Zhou went to Beijing to become Administrator of the Public Security Bureau. She was allowed to go home, but has been put under house arrest. There are three people who were sent from the "610 Office" to watch her 24 hours a day.
Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Wang Minghui from Ningguo City, Anhui Province was abducted again by police on December 17, 2003, and sentenced to three years of labor camp. She was sent to the Hefei City Women Labor Camp. One of her legs is fractured now, and several of her teeth have been knocked out. The labor camp has already sent notice to her home, saying that she is dying.
Police Officer Sui in Jiamusi Prison beat Falun Dafa practitioners brutally. He beat Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Wenyi until he fell to the floor. Then Sui shocked him with an electric baton, stepped on his body, and moved his body around while continuing to step on it. Mr. Li trembled after such a cruel beating, and could not stand. Now Mr. Li often feels suffocated in his chest, is short of breath, and has chest pains.
Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Zhang Weixia from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province is a family member of a retired employee. Because she keeps on believing in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance," and tries to be a good person, the ruthless official who oversees her husband's employer and police abducted her, extorted money from her, detained her, and sent her to a labor camp.
