[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Personnel at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Brutally Torture Dafa Practitioners Jiang Jie and Sun Qingyan

From 1999 to 2000, while Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Jie from Fushun City and practitioner Ms. Sun Qingyan from Chaoyang City were detained at the No.2 Women's Camp in Liaoning Province's Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, guards instigated four prisoners to tie the practitioners' arms and legs to the side of their bodies to form a straight line and kicked their private areas very hard. They also tried to force the practitioners to curse Master Li.

In April 2003, personnel from Chongzhou City "610 Office"* forcibly arrested over 30 Dafa practitioners and detained them at the Nanjieyuan County Hostel for torture. The practitioners are not allowed to sleep six days a week. Those who fell asleep were sprayed with cold water from a high-pressure hose.

Director Zhang Mingyuan and Party committee director Liu Tiejun from the Liaoning Provincial Rail Transportation Department of the Tiefa Coal Group made up some internal rules. Rule No.8 stipulates that whoever persists in practicing Falun Gong will not get a raise in salary. The rules are to be carried out in the eight coals mines affiliated with the department. Zhang Xiu, Party committee director from the Xiaoming Coal Mine and another party committee director whose name is unknown from the Daxing Coal Mine are the two responsible for persecuting practitioners. They refused to give raises to Dafa practitioners and in certain cases fired the practitioners from their jobs.
