(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Qiang, a native of Donggang City, Liaoning Province, was a student at the Dalian Foreign Language Institute. To clarify the truth for Dafa, he went to Beijing to appeal three times in 1999. For the first two times, he was sent back to Dalian City and illegally detained for 15 days and Dalian Foreign Language Institute extorted 16,000 Yuan and 12,000 Yuan respectively. He was arrested in Beijing the third time and was taken back by the Donggong City Police Department. The people from the Xinxing District of Donggang City extorted another 2000 Yuan (his parents live in the Xinxing District). He was later sentenced to one year of forced labor. During this time, he was inhumanly tortured and abused by the guards at the Dandong City Forced Labor Camp. Evil guards used tools to pry open Wang's mouth to force feed him when he went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. He lost one tooth because of that. He was lifted by a few people into the air and thrown to the floor. They grabbed his head and slammed it against the wall many times, and he was punched and kicked numerous times. His leg was broken (he cannot straighten it any more). After half a year torture in the forced labor camp, Wang Qiang was in critical condition. In order to evade the responsibility for this maltreatment, the labor camp authorities released him on bail for medical treatment. His family has already spent 70,000 Yuan on his medical bills.
Wang Qiang is in stable condition now, but he has completely lost the ability to take care of himself and has to rely upon others for his care, being in a despondent state. He does not respond to any of his relatives; he swallows if fed, but will not ask for anything. His parents take care of all his urination and defecation. He would lie down or sit when asked to do so (He can sit with legs crossed and body bent over). His left hand is clenched all the time and nobody can loosen it; his right hand is clenched too--he can only move his thumb and index finger.
Since Wang Qiang cannot provide any information, it's not possible to tell exactly what happened. We share all we know so far to appeal to all the people who have a sense of justice and compassion to give assistance, to stop the persecution and to stop another tragedy like this one.
