Following our Teacher during the Fa-rectification journey, Dafa disciples have become more and more mature, rational, and clear-headed. Facing vicious persecution, unexpected events and all sorts of danger, more and more practitioners have been able to use their righteousness to suppress their human notions. With strong determination as solid as diamond, they completely oppose the old forces' evil arrangements. Step by step, they are creating the future.

One practitioner was kidnapped and sent to a brainwashing class. In the past half a year, nearly one hundred people have come to urge him to give up his belief in Dafa. However, his righteous beliefs have not wavered. Some other kidnapped practitioners who could not stand the persecution provided the police with a lot of information about his Fa-rectification and truth-clarification work, and police have obtained plenty of "evidence" on him. According to their so-called criteria, the police consider this a big case and proposed a prison term of 10-12 years for him. After hearing this, the practitioner was not disturbed at all. He calmly told the police, "What you have planned is meaningless." Sure enough, higher officers rejected the submitted proposal. The police could not imagine why higher officers rejected the case for such a practitioner. Facing the persecution, this practitioner used righteous thoughts to handle it. Since he had no fear, the evil had no loopholes to take advantage of.

Another Dafa disciple was also illegally detained after being targeted as an "important case." After some other practitioners were kidnapped, many could not bear the torture and provided the police with information. Based on this information, the practitioner was considered a key figure in local Dafa activities. The police shocked him with electric batons, trying to force him to provide details and answer questions. However, as this interrogation went on and on, they did not get any information. Although the number of electric batons applied to this practitioner increased one by one, the police appeared to be dealing with someone built of steel. With righteous thoughts, this practitioner made it through more than twenty days of beatings and electric shocks.

There was also a Dafa disciple who was arrested in connection with the truth-clarification cable TV broadcast. He defended himself in court. He said, "I am not here to be charged; instead I have come here to clarify the truth. I will tell you that Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa of the cosmos." Throughout the process, this practitioner took the initiative, and his righteousness defeated the viciousness of the other people present. In contrast, many other practitioners who were in court on that day were very afraid, and some even showed attitudes of regret, etc. The judge later told the practitioner's family in private, "This Dafa disciple did great. It seems that he has reached consummation. The others really did not do well, and their behavior made me upset."

Righteousness can create miracles in the face of persecution. Sometimes even before the persecution takes place, there could be all sorts of "hints" or "implications." Dafa disciples need to consider these things with righteous thoughts. By handling everything in a way that favors Fa-rectification, our undertaking will effectively oppose evil arrangements. With this, we can reduce losses and create good environments.

Teacher has told us, "even if sometime in history you did sign some kind of pact, if today your righteous thoughts are very strong, you don't recognize it, and you insist on not taking part in it, then you can in fact reject it." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.") No matter what kinds of roads the old forces have arranged for us, as long as today we can truly and clear-headedly follow Teacher closely, and completely oppose all evil arrangements made by the old forces, Dafa disciples can determine their own current and future path. Dafa disciples' steadfastness will determine their paths. "Dafa disciples are now sentient beings' only, sole hope for salvation." ("Righteous Thoughts") Opposing the evil persecution is also rooted in Dafa disciples' compassion. We are not relying on external factors, nor are we waiting for or counting on others. We are creating a better environment, and we are creating a wonderful future for sentient beings.
