Mr. Dai Zhong from Fuyuan County, Heilongjiang Province is on the verge of death resulting from torture at the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp. However, in spite of his critical condition, the labor camp authorities still refuse to release him. Additional details are under investigation.

After serving her three year term in a forced labor camp, Ms. Qiu Yuxia from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province could no longer take care of her daily needs. On November 20, 2003, the three year term imposed on her expired. The labor camp authority continues to hold her in custody with no release date in sight.

It was learned on October 27, 2003 that Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Xiulong was unlawfully arrested by police while delivering truth-clarifying materials in Qing'an County with fellow practitioners. Mr. Zhang is from Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province. He managed to escape from the police department using righteous thoughts. Police from Suihua City and Qing'an County launched a fierce manhunt and interrupted the normal life of his family. Several dozen police officers were on stakeout for several days.

On February 17, 2003, Zhang was once again arrested in Suiling County. He suffered from brutal torture but refused to give in. Later he was transferred to the Helun County Detention Center and the police denied all family visits. Details were sketchy. Recently, his family was notified that a visit was granted. During their visit, they were surprised to learn that Mr. Zhang had been sentenced to a harsh eight-year term without the benefit of any legal procedures and was incarcerated in Bei'an Prison.

Mr. Li Fujun is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jiaonan City, Shandong Province. He was sentenced to eight years in prison, and is held at No. 91 Qingqi Road, Jinan City. The exact name of the prison is unknown. The prison is known for entrapping Falun Dafa practitioners by using deception. Mr. Li Fujun's postal address is: P. O. Box 210, Branch Box 11.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Lanxin, 65, is from Jiaonan City, Shandong Province. On October 27, 2003 she was telling the public facts of the persecution of Falun Dafa in Hualian Plaza. Security officers in the plaza spotted her and notified the police. The police told her family that she was to be released after ten days of detention. Despite this, ten days later, she was sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City, Shandong Province (which is affiliated with the Jinan Forced Labor Camp) for brainwashing. No further information is available. Ms. Liu was detained previously, in 2001, for practicing Falun Dafa.

The Yingshan County "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Sichuan Province has resorted to all sorts of tricks to locate Falun Dafa practitioners. Si Shuzhen, director of Women's Affairs at the No. 10 Neighborhood Committee on Mozi Street in Yingshan County tried to coerce the family members of Falun Dafa practitioners to give her the residential registration information. Others have set up traps by announcing that previously withheld salaries will be given back to Falun Dafa practitioners, so when Dafa practitioners come to pick up the salaries, they will be arrested.

Si Shuzhen, who stopped practicing Falun Gong when the persecution started on July 20, 1999, later turned to actively persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners by monitoring their activities and notifying the "610 Office."

Recently, the governments of Beilin District and Xincheng District in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province held graphics exhibitions to viciously attack Falun Dafa and spread lies to local residents.

The Shaanxi Province Police Department has demanded that all Internet cafés in the province sell Internet access cards only to those who present valid residential ID's. Access to the Internet is granted only after registration by name. All online activity is monitored by the General Brigade of Public Information and Network Security of the Shaanxi Province Police Department. This regulation has been enacted to prevent Falun Dafa practitioners from distributing truth-clarifying information across the Internet. It also attempts to cut off communication between local practitioners with the Clearwisdom.net website overseas.

According to sources within the Liaoning Police Department, officials in Liaoning Province are planning to use neurotoxic medicine against certain steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners currently held in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and Dabei Prison.

The "610 Office" ordered that the Dalian Development Zone in Liaoning Province should demand that Falun Dafa practitioners sign the "four statements of guarantees" [denouncing Falun Gong] and extra "guarantees." They have been harassing practitioners in their homes and threatened that anyone who refuses to sign the "guarantees" would be committed to the brainwashing center in Dalian City.

Ms. Wang Minghui from Ningguo City, Anhui Province was unlawfully sentenced to three years of forced labor for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Ms. An Xiuli remains in custody for no reason. Ms. Chen Shuting remains in custody and has been transferred to a detention center in Xuancheng area.

Su Chunxu, chief of the Political Security Section of the Yuanshi County Police Department in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, has been persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners for years. On October 28, 2003, Su led officers to Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Zenlou's home. Zhang was unlawfully arrested and held in the county detention center.

Within the past few days, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yaping was unlawfully arrested at the ticket counter of the Shenyang Railroad Station on orders of Party Secretary Wang of the Disciplinary Committee of the Shenyang Railroad Bureau in Liaoning Province. Ms. Wang Yaping was sent to the brainwashing center located within the Zhangshi Forced Labor Institute.

On November 18, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners in Hubei Province successfully held a Fa conference. In consideration of the limited space and the relatively harsh environment, the initial plan was to hold a conference of about twenty people. However, more than seventy practitioners showed up. Fellow practitioners were passionately engaged in sharing their thoughts and expressing their opinions. Some gave examples of spreading Falun Dafa to at least one person in every family of a certain village, thus accelerating the pace of clarifying the facts and helping to save sentient beings. Others shared experiences about organizing small groups based on geographical proximity in order to better carry out the three tasks of studying the Fa, sending righteous thoughts, and clarifying the truth. Another practitioner told of someone whose faith in Dafa and Master helped him to miraculously recover from a disability acquired after being tormented by the authorities when he was caught clarifying the truth. Some gave personal accounts of how they left prisons with Teacher's help. All practitioners were greatly encouraged and reached understandings that in this final stage of Fa rectification the evil forces are putting up their last and most desperate fight. We need to hold on to our firm belief in Teacher and Falun Dafa, maintain our righteous thoughts, carry out righteous deeds, help save sentient beings, and increasingly carry out the three tasks. We need to set up a favorable environment to collectively study the Fa and practice the Falun Gong exercises, improve as one body, and prepare for the day when the Fa rectifies the human world.

One April evening in 2003, a practitioner who had just started studying Falun Gong in the Fangzi District of Weifang City, Shandong Province was riding a bicycle in a hurry to get home. A four-wheeler transporting agricultural products approached the practitioner rapidly at an angle from the front. The bicycle was flung quite a distance. However the practitioner did not get hurt at all and managed to stand up. The driver was very scared and asked if anything was wrong. The practitioner smiled, "I'm alright! I'm alright! You may go now." Having kept a righteous mind, the practitioner has experienced the mighty power of Falun Dafa, just as Teacher taught us.
