• On May 16, 2003, the largest Dafa truth telling material site in Zhangjiakou was destroyed by the combined forces of the Qiaodong Borough National Security Unit and the Laoyazhuang Police Station located in the Borough of Qiaodong, Zhangiakou City. More than ten Dafa practitioners were illegally detained. Dafa practitioner Yan Yufang (female) was persecuted to death. The policemen included Laoyazhaung police station superintendent Pi Zhongbin, assistant superintendent Shi Ping, City Police Station National Security captain Ma Fuwei, deputy captain Wang Haihong, Qiaodong subsidiary police station superintendent Yan Zhiyou, deputy superintendent Liu Lijun, Deputy Political Committee Qiao Yukuan, National Security Unit Captain Zhang Jinhong, policemen Yang Shui, Yu Shuwen and Fan Zhiwei.

• The large portion of the list from Zhangjiakou City police station: Political and Judicial Secretary Qiao Dongquin, Police Department Superintendent Jiang Shubang, Police Department Secretary Li Jingyun, Police Department Deputy Superintendents Gao Chunfeng, Li Jianzhang, Dong Tiancheng, Yang Jingfeng and Wang Jianshe.

• Here is a partial list of names of Dafa practitioners detained in Zhangjiakou Forced Labor Camp and Custodial Center: Wang Fengyi, Wu Zhaolin, Li Aiming, Li Xiaojun, Wang Xiaoming and others. They may prosecute Dafa practitioners who were illegally detained during the destruction of Dafa Truth Clarification Material Center on May 16. • According to credible sources, the police department in Zhangjiakou City has spent a huge amount of money to purchase equipment to watch and control cell phones. Many cell phones will be under surveillance.

• Around June 20, 2003, police from the Qiaodong Subsidiary Police Station illegally detained Zhangjiakou Dafa practitioner Li Aiming. He protested with a hunger strike in the custodial center. The police incited prisoners to force-feed and torture him. On July 21, he was sentenced to two and half years in a forced labor camp. Qiaoyang Forced Labor camp in Hebei Province refused accept him, but the police who escorted him bribed the Forced Labor Camp with presents to take him. Ma Fuwei the city police station National Security unit captain and Yan Zhiyou the Qiaodong City subsidiary police station superintendent were directly responsible.

• One can see Dafa truth clarification banners and signs everywhere in one of the villages in Hebei Province. Some have been in place over a year and still clearly visible. The local people suggested to Dafa practitioners that they put the truth telling materials in pockets made of red papers. Some villagers collected the truth telling materials and returned them to Dafa practitioners after they finished reading them. The two cadres of the village dealt with their superior, by covering up the signs. One of them hurt his waist and lay in bed for a few months; the other one recently suffered a stroke.

• The 13^th Vancouver Health Expo was held at the Vancouver Convention Hall in the center of the city. Vancouver practitioners have participated in the Health Show for the last 5 years. The elegant, easy and relaxed movements and music of Falun Dafa have attracted many visitors. Some of them followed the music to copy the movements of Dafa practitioners demonstrating the exercises. Some people calmly remained seated and finished watching the half-hour exercise demonstration and some people asked the practitioners for the locations of the practice sites where they can learn Falun Gong.

• Liu Xiwu the section chief of police the department and the Gezhouba Power Plant personnel department minister of the China Yangtze River Three Gorges Development persecuted Dafa practitioners for a long time. He sent many Dafa practitioners from his plant to a detention center, to Shayang Forced Labor Camp, and to Wuhan brainwashing classes. He died in a car accident on October 4.

• Shoushan County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province police station superintendent Li Jingbao followed Jiang's gang persecuting Dafa practitioners. Despite his serious illness he still would not repent and continued to go to Dafa practitioners' homes frequently to disturb and abduct Dafa practitioners. In 2003, his son died from nasal cancer despite spending a lot of money for a cure.

• Three examples of karmic retribution from Huanan County, Heilongjiang Province : Political Security Office section Chief Song Dianlin was in charge of seizing Dafa practitioners. His son died of cancer of the testicle and Chief Song was dismissed from his post. Political Security Office policeman Zhao Guochen always confiscated Dafa practitioners' houses. He is now sick in bed and unable to speak. Zhang Jie an instructor at a detention center force-fed Dafa practitioners on hunger strikes. He was suddenly extremely ill and died from vomiting blood.

• Zhangbei County, Zhangjiekou City, Hebei Province retribution for people for their evil doings: The former county commissioner Qu Fengmei (female) condemned Teacher and Dafa; her only son who was a college student died from internal organ infections in 2000. Li Bing who was promoted to deputy director general in 99 condemned Teacher and Dafa; insulted and abused Dafa practitioners. He was diagnosed with a heart and brain blood vessel disease and has been paralyzed ever since. County police station Political Security commissioner Zhao Chunfu participated in Falun Gong persecution. His wife suffers from rheumatism is paralyzed and bedridden. County Police station Political Security unit captain Li Xinghong persecuted Dafa practitioners. In 2003 his daughter fell and injured her leg tendon. After spending 20,000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] for surgery she has not yet fully recovered. County police station superintendent Li Haiqing has condemned Teacher in brainwashing classes at the county education department. He quarreled with his wife on the same day and she cut off a section of his little finger. "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] director Sun Jianjun one of the chief instigators persecuting Falun Gong, suffers a heart attack or some other sickness after each time he persecutes practitioners.

• The former education unit secretary Lu was under arrest. He is the policeman who participated in the persecution of Dafa practitioner Sun Shizhong to death in Jiutai Forced Labor Camp in Jilin Province on April 19, 2002.
