(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Xie Zhenggong and Ms. Zhu Yihua from Urumqi Bayi Iron and Steel Company, Ltd. in Xinjiang Autonomous Region were kidnapped in the beginning of 2001. The judge at the first trial wrongfully sentenced Xie Zhenggong and Zhu Yihua to 6 years in prison. Both practitioners have appealed the verdict, thereby delaying imprisonment, and it is likely that they are being held at the Urumqi Liudaowan Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Xie Zhenggong used to be a local assistant. He was kidnapped on July 20, 1999 and persecuted for more than 40 days. After this he did a lot of comprehensive work to encourage local practitioners to step forward to validate Falun Dafa. His wife was giving birth when he was arrested a second time. Before he had a chance to get a good look at his infant son, he was taken away. His young wife has wept so much that she is nearly out of tears. It was her husband's righteousness and compassion for upholding the truth that supported her, and helped her survive two years of painful suffering. When Xie Zhenggong was working, many of his co-workers were moved by his righteousness and great compassion and tolerance, and started to understand Falun Dafa in a positive way.

Zhu Yihua is a 30-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner. Although very talented and brilliant, she lost a well-paying job because she upheld the truth. She was forced to abandon the security of her home and become penniless in order to avoid being arrested for revealing the truth about Falun Dafa. We have been informed that a second trial against practitioners Mr. Xie and Ms. Zhu, among others, will be held in January 2003, at the Urumqi Xinshi District People's Court. We hope practitioners reading this news will send forth powerful righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors in other dimensions that assist in the persecution of Dafa disciples.
