Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution,
that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The
fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe,
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in
harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will
incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while
evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate
reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute
Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be
held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they
escape karmic retribution.
(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 1999, Li Longchun, party secretary of Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, has closely followed Jiang Zemin's political directives in persecuting Dafa practitioners, and has been responsible for several deaths. In Dazhou City, some practitioners were even dragged through the streets wearing signs hanging around their necks, in a Cultural Revolution-style public humiliation, .
The crimes Li committed himself even brought karmic retribution to his family members. Last year, Li's son and daughter-in-law fought with each other. His daughter-in-law severely burned her husband's face with sulfuric acid. His daughter-in-law, however, was later thrown from the window of a tall building and died.
We hereby, with compassion, send a serious warning to all officials, police, and their accomplices who commit crimes against Dafa practitioners: "Good is rewarded with good and evil actions will meet evil returns" is a heavenly principle. Please stop your evil behaviour and treat Dafa and Dafa practitioners with respect. Only by doing that are you cherishing yourselves, your family members and your future.
