(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa disciples' righteous thoughts have great strength. In "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida," Teacher told us, "Then if every student is able to do that, I can tell you, with five minutes of sending forth righteous thoughts together, the evil in the Three Realms will never exist again--that's how important this is."

What is the reason that we have not been able to achieve the state that we are supposed to reach: to send forth the purest and most steadfast righteous thoughts? Upon returning from the Boston Experience-Sharing Conference, I realized the importance of Dafa disciples' truly succeeding in improving and elevating ourselves as a whole in the course of studying the Fa.

A lot of fellow practitioners have published on our Dafa websites their understandings of sending forth the righteous thoughts. I have also come to understand that as we eliminate the evil, we are establishing a peaceful period of time during which we can more effectively clarify the truth in order to save more sentient beings. Meanwhile, I understand that the old forces have carefully arranged everything in the cosmos, including arrangements for every individual being in the cosmos. As a consequence we are also included in the arrangements made according to the old cosmos' principles of "formation-stasis-degeneration-destruction."

When sending forth righteous thoughts in the past, when I would spend the first five minutes cleansing myself, I always eliminated those notions and deviated thoughts that I was aware of. But the fact is that the things that are about to happen tomorrow, the manifestation of our notions, and some of my attachments and bad thoughts -- even though they have not yet been displayed, they have all been pre-arranged. With a clear understanding of this based on Fa principles, now when I cleanse myself for five minutes I steadfastly deny the old forces' arrangements, including the arrangements made for every individual living being. I suddenly discovered that now when I send forth righteous thoughts, I have no distracting thoughts in my mind, allowing my mind to become clean and pure. It is as if my body was dissolved in a serene, peaceful atmosphere.

In "Touring North America to Teach the Fa," Teacher told us: "During the Fa-rectification, the cosmos is making breakthroughs from the microcosm toward the surface; and during their cultivation, Dafa disciples are changing from the microcosm toward the surface, too. As you cultivate, your bodies in the microcosm make rapid breakthroughs in levels. And in their cultivation the bodies of the vast majority of our students don't have much left at the surface anymore." In the article "Expounding on the Fa," Teacher told us: "I am not asking you to intentionally do something. I am only trying to make you understand the principles of the Fa so that you will have a clear understanding of this. In fact, Dafa is not only to save human beings -- it is also taught to all beings in the various dimensions. Your enlightened, original nature will automatically know what to do. Cherishing your human side enables you to enlighten to and ascend in the Fa."

I also realized that when we cleanse our own dimensions while sending forth righteous thoughts, we are eliminating evil, deviated beings, and we are in fact "thinking about eliminating the bad thoughts, karma, bad notions, and external interference in their minds. As you're like this, think that they die, and then they will be eliminated." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference") I realized that in the past our human notions have always been eliminating these things as merely conceptual matters, rather than the physical beings that they are. I am now fully aware of how I must eliminate the deviated beings in my own dimensional field, and find that when I send forth the righteous thoughts it is a lot purer and cleaner.

I also came to understand that it is only when we calm our hearts to study the Fa, when we are truly able to gain higher understandings of Fa-principles -- with a pure, clean mind filled with compassion -- then our righteous thoughts will be the purest and most steadfast.
