1. [China] China Strengthens Internet Blockade; Internet Cafes Forced to Install Surveillance Software
According to Document No. [2002] 8, Internet cafes are now required to install "Police Online Surveillance Software," set up a User ID registration system and operate it under close supervision by the police department. The Jiang regime enforces many new requirements that apply to Internet cafes and continues to block the free flow of information on the Internet. Now they have mandated the means to monitor people's online activities. We remind the Falun Dafa practitioners to be aware of the safety issue when patronizing Internet cafes.
2. [China] Jiang Regime Publishes a Secret Brainwashing Manual
The Jiang regime has published a new manual called "The Psychological Analysis of Falun Gong Practitioners." I saw it while the Team Leader of 5th Team was torturing me at his office in Beijing No.1 Labor Camp. The lower portion of the book cover reads "Top Secret" because this is the theory behind the brainwashing techniques used on Falun Gong practitioners. This sinister book is not available to the general public. Even some police officers have only been allowed to hear the contents read to them, and then, only when they were being trained to brainwash Falun Gong practitioners. Since I accidentally saw the content that the police deemed to be secret, a policeman told me, "If you refuse to give in, you will not make it out alive."
This book is criminal evidence of the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, and those within the Jiang regime fear that this evidence could be exposed.
3. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] A Practitioner Is Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Sun Gongxiang, a 30-year-old kindergarten teacher, was sentenced to four years in Jinan Prison, in Jinan City. She gave her pupils Dafa bookmarks and greeting cards. Later she was reported to the police by some of her pupils' parents who were ignorant of the truth of Falun Dafa.
4. [Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province] A Female Practitioner Has a Mental Collapse Due to Torture
On June 16, 2002, Yingtan City Police broke into practitioner Zhao Xiying's home, abducted her and confiscated her fax machine and truth clarifying materials. Zhao was detained in a factory and was not allowed to sleep. She had been continuously tortured and has suffered a mental collapse. Just two days before she was abducted, three practitioners were also taken away in a neighboring county.
5. [Guangdong Province] Child Abandoned After "610 Office" Detains Parents
The Guangdong "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] directed the leaders of each work unit in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioner Yang Haidong, who is the technical mainstay of the Guangdong Cable TV Station, was recently sent to a brainwashing class at the direction of the company. Yang is currently detained at a brainwashing center known as the "Guangdong Law Education School."
In addition, Falun Dafa practitioner Li Wei (Yang Haidong's wife) has also been forced to go to the Guangzhou Law Education School, which is really just another fa ade for a forced labor camp. Their 2-year-old child was left home alone.
6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Fushan District Auditorium Holds An "Art" Exhibit Slandering Dafa
Fushan Auditorium, in Yantai City, is currently holding an exhibit that slanders Falun Dafa. The event is co-sponsored by the District Youth League Committee, the Yantai Calligrapher's Association, the Party Committee, the Education Bureau, the Physical Education Bureau and the Fushan District Insurance Company. The event has been very sparsely attended because people are gradually awakening to the truth. It should be noted, however, that primary and middle school students had drawn many of the pictures. We hope that fellow practitioners will strengthen their truth clarification to students and their teachers, so the children will not be poisoned by the Jiang regime.
