Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward
actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating,
torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another
way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due
retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of
this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who
persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires
that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by
reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
- Zhang Li, a police officer with the Qinghe Police Station of Chaoyang
District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, frequently arrived uninvited at the
door of a Falun Dafa practitioner's home, trying to catch her at home so that
he could kidnap her away to prison. However, the practitioner escaped
successfully every time. One day the policeman was quoted as saying, "I don't
believe that I will be able to catch her before I die." Then, a few days
later, the policeman suffered a brain hemorrhage and died.
- In Sichuan Province, a student from Deyang First Middle School lied that a
Dafa practitioner's son was going to beat him up. The first student's parents
reported this to the police and as a result the practitioner's son was picked
up and wrongfully detained for 8 hours at the police station. The student who
fabricated the story ended up getting a concussion when a gang of local
ruffians beat him up. He remains unconscious to this day.

instantly.

Shigouxiang Police Station arrested, beat, and illegally sentenced many Falun

of his lung.
