(Clearwisdom.net) During the past few days many practitioners have posted on the Internet articles discussing the question of how Dafa disciples are able to form an even better unified body and completely deny the arrangement of the old forces. This has inspired me a great deal, and I deeply realize that all Dafa disciples need to be as one unified body, and from now on truly stress the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts. In our sending forth righteous thoughts we can continuously improve our xinxing, and have a better understanding of the Fa and principles of what Master talks about concerning righteous thoughts, sending forth righteous thoughts, using divine powers, and sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity.

Below is the understanding I have at my current level.

1. What are righteous thoughts

In the "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A." Master said, "Let me talk about another issue. Namely, as you know, we are eliminating the evil at set times, that is, we're sending forth righteous thoughts. In the past it wasn't called 'sending forth righteous thoughts,' it was 'divine powers'-- using divine powers, Buddha Fa's divine powers. Everyday people have referred to it as 'supernormal abilities.'"

My own understanding is that by Master passing on the Fa-rectification verses and hand positions to us, in another dimension our divine powers were opened up. The divine side that we have already cultivated to has immeasurable divine powers and abilities. On this human side though, we still seem quite normal -- we are just sending out commands and doing some hand positions. Our mighty immeasurable divine powers are actually dictated by our main human body, but for divine beings, even when we cultivate to divine bodies in every dimension, they won't listen to orders from humans unless our main human bodies send forth righteous thoughts. This then puts a very high requirement on our enlightenment and xinxing, that is to say that when we basically cannot see the mighty strength of our own divine powers, we still need to understand the Fa from within the Fa, really believe that we have these abilities, and the thought that is sent forth must be pure and determined. (Some new students and veteran students that have not placed an emphasis on supernormal abilities even today still to different degrees doubt the effects of their own righteous thoughts.)

Then what kind of thought can be called a pure righteous thought? I understand that there is a basic point that needs attention, which is that the basis for sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil is compassionately saving sentient beings, and not because of indignation towards the head of the evil or any evil being that damages Dafa. When our main human body has a compassionate and peaceful heart when reciting Master's verses, and after directing to "eradicate all evil that damages Dafa, encompassing it all and leaving out none" we rely on the purity of our righteous thoughts. The level after level of divine bodies in every dimension that we have cultivated will take initiative and use wisdom to do everything, and they don't need any more specific commands because they are divine beings. As for how many divine bodies can be moved to take part in this from the righteous thoughts we send forth, that entirely depends on the determination and purity of our righteous thoughts, because if the thoughts that are sent forth are mixed with many human attachments, divine beings won't listen to the plans of humans.

The more that the thought that is sent forth conforms to the requirements of the Fa-rectification process of a dignified and aboveboard Dafa disciple, the better will be the results of eliminating the evil in other dimensions. Otherwise, the thought will obstruct the divine side from using its power. Our cleaning out the evil in other dimensions with our righteous thoughts is compassion toward sentient beings that can be saved, and this is also compassion for evil that cannot be redeemed -- it is extremely solemn. Since Master has told us to send forth righteous thoughts, it is something that we as Dafa disciples must do and do well. We must place a high importance on it, and this must come from the perspective of the Fa's principles and cultivation. We need to be clear on how to be able to make our own thoughts more and more determined and pure, so as to make us steadily send forth the purest and most determined righteous thoughts. Actually, when we send forth righteous thoughts that are able to reach the standard of Fa-rectification, when we send forth righteous thoughts across the globe, and in special circumstances in close proximity, then that is sufficient to effectively eliminate the evil factors that manipulate the head of the evil, as well as all the evil beings that should be cleared out.

2. Use the overall situation of the Fa-rectification's progress as the starting point; have a clear sense of our mission and responsibility

Eliminating the evil elements that control the head of the evil is fundamentally denying the old forces' evil arrangements and saving sentient beings. Sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity is the Fa taught by Master to Dafa disciples in order to complete this sacred mission.

The progress of Fa-rectification and the day it ends are at the discretion of Teacher. It is determined by the arrival of the Fa-rectification's current, not by the presence of the head of the evil in the human world. The head of the evil in the human world was arranged to be here by the old evil forces in order to damage Fa-rectification and poison sentient beings, all in the name of a "test." If the evil elements that control the head of the evil in the human world can be eliminated before the arrival of the Fa-rectification's current and the conclusion of the Fa-rectification, then it would be fundamentally breaking through the old force's interference and sabotage. It would create a peaceful, just environment, enabling us to truly clarify the truth broadly and in depth, so that sentient beings will be able to better understand Dafa and the evil forces' persecution, thereby placing themselves in a good position. In particular, the billion-plus precious Chinese people would be saved, and this is also our magnificent Master's boundless mercy for the cosmos' sentient beings. Therefore, eliminating the evil factors that control the head of the evil and offering salvation to sentient being is every Dafa disciple's most important, most sacred mission within Fa-rectification.

Because of the evil forces' interference and damage, as well as our cultivation state, we cannot reach the purest state while sending forth righteous thoughts, so Master taught us the Fa of sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity. This is Master's magnificent mercy towards the cosmos' sentient beings in this special time period. Each of us Dafa disciples should take the Fa as Teacher and have a clear sense of our mission and responsibility.

3. Recognize and firmly clean out all forms of interference while sending forth righteous thoughts

After reciting the verses and sending out the thought of eliminating the evil elements that control the head of the evil, our divine side will naturally know what to do. In order to guarantee that the divine side is able to fully exert its power, our human side should enter a state of tranquility, maintain the true thought, the purer the better. In order to guarantee a state of purity and clear-headedness, we must have a clear consciousness and clean out all forms of interference. For example fatigue, various stray thoughts, the telephone ringing -- all of these are simple manifestations of interference in this dimension. In other dimensions it is quite possible that this reflects the evil forces' stubborn, desperate final struggle and a fierce battle. When faced with this we need to see through it clearly, treat it seriously and clear it out firmly.

We learned many lessons about sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity from our experiences in Germany. We discovered unsteadiness in our xinxing while sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity such as the attachment of zealotry, excitement stemming from being so physically close, overlooking sending forth righteous thoughts while unfurling banners and shouting words of justice, etc. Perhaps these things were caused by the evil directly interfering with our thoughts, or perhaps it was the exposure of our own attachments. Both are forms of interference that need to be rationally identified and cleaned out.

At the same time, cultivators cannot have everyday people's attachments of pursuit or the competitive mentality. Along with these attachments, the ordinary person's notion of "seeing is believing" can also bring along various forms of interference when sending forth righteous thoughts. As long as we follow Master's requirement to send forth righteous thoughts, the evil will be eliminated in massive quantities in other dimensions. As a result, the evil force will receive a mortal blow in other dimensions. Meanwhile, the evil forces all over the world will concentrate their forces to protect the head of the evil and be destroyed en masse, greatly weakening the evil's overall power. That is to say, regardless of whether we can see the direct results in this human dimension, sending forth righteous thoughts by the entire group of Dafa disciples is beneficial to better clarify the truth and offer salvation to sentient beings.

4. Proactively join in to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evils

Currently, disciples all over the world are sending forth righteous thoughts together every day. We all need to place full emphasis on this matter so that as many disciples as possible will proactively join in to send forth righteous thoughts. Regardless of location, even if work and daily life become very hectic, as long as we place a high importance on it, everyone should be able to guarantee sending forth righteous thoughts at least twice daily out of the four predetermined times.

In addition, it is very important to rationally, holistically and creatively consider problems. Unique circumstances require unique solutions. In this unique period of time when we need to study the Fa well and clarify the truth more thoroughly, as well as concentrating on sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors that control the head of the evil, Dafa disciples all over the world can fully take advantage of their own unique set of circumstances. We should try to increase the time spent on sending righteous thoughts together globally and fully take advantage of sending forth righteous thoughts at a close distance, destroying entirely the old forces' so-called arrangements for Fa-rectification.

All in all, this is the time for all Dafa disciples to place full emphasis on sending forth righteous thoughts, or we will not be able to catch up with the progress of Fa-rectification and fulfill Fa-rectification's requirements. The power of sending forth righteous thoughts is determined by the purity, righteousness and steadfastness of our thoughts--these cannot be made up by fragmented, extreme human thinking or surface appearances.
