On the evening of May 8, 2002, the "Sound of Brilliance and Promise" concert was held at the Convocation Hall in University of Toronto. All the programs were composed, arranged and performed by Dafa practitioners. Many famous Chinese artists gave performances in the hope that more people could learn about Falun Dafa through their songs and musical performance.

The concert began with the dance "Heaven and Earth Celebrating Together," and reached the climax with the song "Falun Dafa is good" sung by Canadian Western Dafa practitioner Connie and the song "Coming just for you" sung by Western Dafa practitioners who had gone to Tiananmen Square to clarify the truth to the Chinese people.
