[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Liu Qingtao of Jinzhou District Is Illegally Sentenced to 5 Years Imprisonment

Practitioner Liu Qingtao of Dalian City appealed in Beijing at the end of 1999. Because he hosted several practitioners appealing to Beijing, he was regarded as a key contact and illegally detained for two years in Jinzhou Detention Center. His family was not allowed to visit him. Recently, he was secretly sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

At about 7 p.m. on February 8, 2001, police officers from Ningjiang District, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, broke into practitioner Yang Lidong's house. They illegally searched the house and confiscated all the truth-clarifying materials they could find.. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Policemen from Renmin Road Police Station and No.2 Automobile Plant Police Division Brutally Beat a Female Practitioner

On the night of December 4, 2001, a female practitioner was arrested by a policeman from Hongwei Police Station Shiyan City while she was distributing truth-clarifying flyers. She was interrogated and severely beaten in the No. 6 Security Brigade of Police Division in the No. 2 Automobile Plant. Her hands were cuffed behind her back for two nights.

On the morning of February 5, a vicious policeman named Wang from the Shiyan City Police Department interrogated and brutally beat her. He struck her temples, which resulted in her going into spasms, falling to the ground, and losing consciousness. When she stopped breathing, the emergency rescue doctor that was brought in said, "She has a heart problem. Her heart is unstable and beating too fast, making it difficult for her to breath. Please do not do anything more to her, otherwise it will be very dangerous."

That afternoon another wicked policeman named Guan Zhijun, from the political security section of the very same division, interrogated and brutally beat her again. Guan grabbed her hair and knocked her head against the wall. While beating her he yelled, "I am the doctor! I am not afraid that you are sick! We are the organization of violence! We are the tools (to suppress you)! We are the knives of the slaughter machine!" In the end, Guan tortured her with "Carrying a Sword in the Back" [The practitioner's hands are tied behind his back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together.] Later a superior officer saw it and ordered the torture to be stopped.

That same evening, the director of the Renmin Road Police Station named Hu Zhuangfei came to interrogate her. Although he saw that the practitioner already had wounds all over her body, his first action was to grab her hair and knock her head against the wall again. He shouted, "I don't believe you can be Liu Hulan or Jiang Jie (two heroines from Chinese history). I am the violence! I am the killer..."

That night, the two vicious policemen Wang and Guan plotted to take the practitioner to a neighboring county and clamored to murder her on the way. The practitioner had been tortured all day long, but she still didn't comply and tried her best to resist. Their evil plot failed.

The following evening, some police leaders from Shiyan City Police Department interrogated her one more time in the reception facility of Factory 20, No.2 Automobile Plant. They threatened her, "Aren't you afraid that we can break apart your family or even cause their deaths?"

[Northeast China] The "610" Office Conspires with the Post Office Officials to Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners

I am an employee of the city's post office. In the workplace, I work conscientiously according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." My supervisors and co-workers all say that I am a good worker. However, in January 2002, with the secret orders of Jiang's regime flowing one after another to the lower levels of state management institutions, another round of frenzied persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners began. The policemen went even farther than bandits. They abducted practitioners and ransacked their homes. Nine Falun Dafa practitioners were abducted one after another, and six of them have already been illegally sent to the forced labor camps in Changchun City.

Under the instigation of the "610" office, the leader at my work unit forcibly transferred me from the telephone operator team to the business hall, and the reason was that they "suspected me of eavesdropping on phone calls from the '610' office." The next day, without notifying me, they secretly moved my work tools from the telephone operator team to the business hall in the lower level and also forcibly took away my key. On the fourth day, the political security section of the police department came to my home to conduct a search without any reason. I firmly refused to cooperate and refused to open the door, so their plan did not succeed. Afterwards, they had a plain clothes policemen follow me and wiretapped my phone calls. They have caused my wife to live in a constant state of anxiety and fear.

An auntie's Falun Dafa book was in the electronic repair department where she worked. After the fire, all the electronic appliances were burned badly, but the Falun Dafa book on the table just had the color of its cover slightly changed. These two things proved to them that Falun Dafa is supernormal. The things happening today are Teacher's way of giving a hint that you should respect Teacher and Dafa, strengthen your righteous belief in Falun Dafa and cultivate diligently during Fa-rectification!"

[Jiutai City, Jilin Province] The "Education Team" of the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp Brutally Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners

The Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City of Jilin Province detained Falun Dafa practitioners from Jilin City, Siping City, Yanji City and other areas. After New Year's Day, the forced labor camp began a new round of brutal repression and established the so-called "education team," basically an intensive brainwashing session, intending to torture the newly arrived Dafa practitioners and force them to renounce Falun Dafa. They tied the practitioners up and beat them viciously. One criminal whose nickname is Zhu Laoliu beat the practitioners with extreme cruelty. Once he broke two spade handles from the beatings he gave practitioners.

[Beijing] Eight Sisters Go To Tiananmen to Validate Dafa and Eliminate Evil with Righteous Thoughts

On January 1, 2002, Tiananmen Square was heavily guarded. It looked gloomy, cold and sinister. However, Falun Dafa practitioners came in a continuous stream to Tiananmen Square for Fa-rectification.

That day, we, eight sisters from various places in China, came to Tiananmen Square. We unfurled a Falun Dafa banner and called out in the strongest voice from our heart, "Falun Dafa is good!" We validated Dafa with our hearts and fulfilled our vows made millions upon millions of years ago.

In a frenzy, the vicious police punched, kicked and forcibly pushed us into a police vehicle. We were detained separately in the Tiananmen Police Sub-division and the Qianmen Police Station. We recited Zhuan Falun and Teacher's articles, and sent forth righteous thoughts to resist and eliminate the evil. That night, the police sent us to the Miyun County Detention Center. The wind is piercing in the North in winter. However, the guards in the Miyun County Detention Center took away our winter clothes and shoes. They forced us to sit for a long time on the cement floor in the detention center's courtyard. After searching us, they detained the eight of us in the same cell.

We were quite clear that it is the noblest and greatest thing to validate Dafa in Tiananmen. Driven by the old evil forces, the police illegally detained us. Our Teacher doesn't recognize the evil's arrangement, and neither do we. We firmly refused to cooperate with them. We didn't tell the police our names and addresses, and we refused to eat or drink anything in the detention center. We didn't allow them to take pictures and refused to print our fingerprints or sign our names. In the cell, we recited the Fa and studied the Fa. We enlightened from the Fa's perspective. We realized that we are one body, so we should improve together and eliminate the evil. When the vicious police wanted to interrogate us, we would hold onto each other. When they broke into the ward and wanted to beat us, we would shout loudly, "Do not beat people!" Our collective righteous power suffocated the evil. We always sent forth the righteous thoughts and eliminated the evil together. Under Teacher's compassionate protection, we encouraged each other and openly walked out of the detention center one after another.

[Beijing] Chaoyang District Laiguangying Police Station in Beijing Illegally Detains and Tortures Falun Dafa Practitioners

Before the Spring Festival, officials from the police station illegally detained Beijing Dafa practitioner Wang Yuan's parents, practitioners who are over 60 years old, in the Laiguangying Police Station. They have been detained for over 20 days and still have not been released. They were handcuffed and were forced to sit on a "tiger bench" [Practitioners are forced to sit on a small iron bench that is approximately 20 cm (6 inches) tall. Practitioners' knees are tightly tied on the small bench - "Tiger Bench." He has to sit straight up with his eyes looking straight ahead. His hands are tied on the back or sometimes placed on his knees. He is not allowed to turn his head, close his eyes, talk to anyone, raise his hand, or call out for the attention of the guards. If practitioners disobey his orders in the brainwashing class, he would brutally beat them immediately. A practitioner's mother, also a Dafa practitioner, once visited her detained son. Zhang Cunqiang would not let her into the building and instead asked a thug to push the elderly woman out the door. They eventually even sent this practitioner's mother to the detention center.

Yuan Ping and Li Dan specialize in brainwashing Dafa practitioners and slandering Dafa. Both of them are suffering from strange illnesses as a result of their wrongdoings. One itches all over, and the other has boils in his throat. However, they still show no sign of repentance.
