A Prophesy Comes True

There is a Falun Gong practitioner, over fifty-years old, who lives in Fangcheng county, Henan province. When she was still a child, her uncle said to her before he passed away, "My dear child, live well. Forty years from now, a man named Li will come here to teach the Great Way. I cannot wait that long. You are truly blessed." This incident made a deep impression in her mind. Not until Master Li introduced Falun Dafa was she able to solve the mystery.

Protecting a Banner

A banner was put up in front of Yuwangtai (a local landmark) in Kefeng, Henan province. Nobody knew when it happened. When people passed by, they pointed to the banner and read, "Falun Dafa is Good."

"The police will be here soon!" someone shouted.

Upon hearing that, an elderly gentleman started to take down the banner. "It is not easy for others to do this, I cannot allow the police to ruin it!" He then folded the banner neatly and walked away with it.

Terror on Tiananmen Square

There was a township leader from a city in Henan province who went to Beijing to bring back some practitioners who had gone to appeal and had been illegally detained. At the time, he had a cold. While he was taking some tissues out of his coat pocket at Tiananmen Square, a plain-clothed police, thinking that he was about to pull out a Falun Dafa banner, grabbed his wrist and slammed him to the ground. The township head suffered so much pain that he could not stop screaming. After he came back from Beijing, he was still trembling in fear, and said, "Now I have experienced the persecution."

A Practitioner in a Village Outsmarts the Police

There were two sisters who had been illegally detained with their parents for spreading the truth about Falun Gong and handing out truth-clarifying materials. The older sister was also expelled from her technical school.

One winter night, the older sister went out to hang banners and truth-clarifying posters. When she went home, the police followed her there. They kept banging at the door. Quick-wittedly, she went to the toilet (it was outside in the backyard). The police came in the room to check, "Have all of you turned in for the night?" At this moment, she came out from the toilet calmly. The police saw her wearing indoor clothing, checked around the toilet, and left with nothing but frustration. It turned out the girl had quickly taken off her overcoat and sweater and had thrown them onto the roof.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

This happened in one of the neighborhoods in Kaifeng, Henan province. One day a police car drove through the neighborhood, and the police asked around for the home of a certain Falun Gong practitioner. This practitioner's neighbor went home and alerted him over the wall, "The police are here looking for you!" Our fellow practitioner was in the middle of studying the Fa. When the police came, everything was already arranged accordingly.

Afterward, the neighbor affectionately said, "So my neighbor practices Falun Gong; he (or she) is a nice person. You can ask anyone around the neighborhood, they all claim they don't know the person and cannot recognize him (or her). Who would do such a bad deed as tipping off the police about good people?"

The Father-in-law of a Practitioner Scolds the Police

In Kaifeng, Henan, there was a Falun Gong practitioner who owned and operated a convenience store. She was always hospitable and attentive in her service. Her customers and neighbors had nothing but praise for her character. In order to validate Falun Dafa, she went to Beijing in 1999 and was illegally arrested. Her husband's father went to visit her one day and scolded the police in front of the prison: "My daughter-in-law is kind and capable. Everyone knows that. You arrest people unlawfully! Now there is no one to care for the children, and our home is falling apart..."

Note: The whereabouts of this practitioner is unknown at this time. In early August, her husband had gone to various places to search for her.
