This afternoon, was the second day of the global vigil to commemorate the Falun Gong practitioners persecuted to death and to condemn Jiang's suppression of Falun Gong. Over 50 practitioners from Washington DC attended the press conference at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Chinese Embassy.

A practitioner read a statement to the media and described briefly the cases of practitioners murdered recently. Reporters from AFP and other media attended the conference and interviewed the practitioners.

After the press conference, the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises.

From 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., over 60 practitioners lined up along both sides of Connecticut Avenue in front of the Embassy, unfurled big banners and held a candlelight vigil.

Before the end of the candlelight vigil, all practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together.
