(Clearwisdom.Net) Since July 20, 1999, the lawless people from the local police station and local government in Bajilei Township, Nongan County, Jilin Province have used all kinds of means to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. They employed methods such as surveillance, deception, searching of their homes, assessment of fines and so on to persecute them. As a result, dozens of practitioners have been illegally detained and two have been sent to labor camps. Those unlawful people have committed enormous crimes and karma.

However, good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil. Since last fall, people from the local government and detention center who were involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners were out of work one after another, and, in addition, some of them suffered from serious illnesses. For nearly two years, the Nongan County area encountered severe drought. On July 20, 2001, a plague of locusts appeared on a large scale in Bajilei Township.

1. Zhang Zhijun, male, is the head of the local police station in Bajilei Township. He is in his forties. Since July 20, 1999, he has acted as a hired thug and forced every practitioner to pass the so-called test. He arrested practitioners as long as they said they would continue to practice. As a result, dozens of practitioners have been illegally detained and two have been sent to labor camps. Falun Gong practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal were fined 4,000 RMB Yuan [about US$500]. Some of them did not have enough money to pay the fine, and then he forcefully searched their houses and took away their property and assets such as: TV sets, walking tractors, taxi cars, farm animals, and so on. Practitioners have to redeem them by buying them back from the police. Some practitioners do not have enough money, so their property remains in the police station. Many practitioners were fined when Zhang was in the office.

Because he kept persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, he has received retribution. Between February and March, he had a cerebral hemorrhage and became paralyzed. His condition is very serious and he can no longer take care of himself. He spends hundreds of Yuan, or even thousands of Yuan every day, treating his illness.

2. Dong Fujing is a police officer of the police station of Bajilei Township who was very cruel to the Falun Gong practitioners. He has gone to practitioners' homes to search for Dafa books, arrest them, forcibly take pictures of them, and slander Dafa. After a short while, he received retribution and had misfortunes one after another.

In the fall of 2000, he rode a motorcycle and collided with a car. Both his motorcycle and helmet were damaged. He bumped into the car and was injured. In June of 2001, he rode his motorcycle after drinking and fell down into a deep gully and was severely injured. Currently it's still hard for him to walk.

3. Lu Hongtian, male, was a police officer of the local police station in Bajilei Township. Since July 20, 1999, he diligently persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. Once, he saw practitioner Zhao passing by on a street, so he then dragged him to the police station, beating and insulting him. When he searched and found a Dafa book in Zhao's bag, he threw it into a toilet immediately. Lu, was dismissed from his post last fall.
4. There was another police officer in the Bajilei Township police station who also diligently persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. He often went to practitioners' homes and searched for Dafa materials. In addition, he always swore at Dafa. He was dismissed from his post last fall, too.

Moreover, those unlawful people brought disasters to the local people because of their persecution of Falun Gong. For nearly two years, Nongan County has encountered serious droughts. On July 20, 2001, a plague of locusts that shows up once only every several hundreds of years occurred in the Bajilei Township.

According to City Evening Paper , "the plague of locusts that happens once in hundreds of years suddenly occurred in the nearly one-hundred-square-kilometer Poluo pond in Bajilei Township." "Balilei Township used to be proud of their Poluo pond area. The pond is 30 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide. It had water all throughout the year and produces fish. The local farmers living nearby made a fortune by fishing... Because of the nearly two-year drought, the water in the Boluo Pond became less and less. This year there is not a drop of water left. The ground of the pond has cracked and has rift lines after rift lines. This provides a breeding ground for the locusts... The reeds around the pond now become bald poles, which is the scene after the plague of the locusts. Ms. Liu, who lives nearby and makes a living by fishing, told the reporter several days ago, that the locusts were too many. The locusts were flying all over the sky and they were like a windy snowfall. People who were riding their motor scooters heard the sound of "Ka Ka" and the crushed locusts formed a pile under the motor scooter. In a second, the entire body and the motor scooter would be completely covered with locusts. The scene was truly terrifying." The plague of the locusts destroyed a large amount of the crops nearby. It has also affected the nearby six counties such as Sanshengwang, Fulongquan, and so on. All these are like the "frost adding to the snow for the crop under drought" as a chinese proverb fortells.

Teacher Li said, "I can tell you, all of the natural and man-made disasters that have been happening in Mainland China are already warnings for the sins the beings there have committed against Dafa. If they don't come to realize it, then the real catastrophe(s) will begin. All the evil people who have sinned against Dafa--those who are no longer useful in the evil, so-called 'test' of Dafa disciples--have now begun to meet with retribution for their evil. It is the heavenly principle that good deeds meet with good reward and evil deeds ends up with evil reward. No matter who you are, you have to repay the debts of bad deeds you committed. May we offer a piece of advice to people who have persecuted Falun Gong: please wake up so you can avoid the disaster at the last moment.
